£56.55 spent in the supermarket today, way more than I'd hoped for. OH was with me though, I think it's always more expensive if we do the food shop together :o

NSD 8/20 yesterday, definitely need more of these esp with spending so much of the grocery budget already.

Ran home from work, just a 30 min run but it really helped clear my head. Work is horrendously busy at the moment and in the past of couple days I feel like I've barely made a dent in my to-do list.

Just been to the doctors so I've got an appointment next week with the nurse to get my bloods taken. I've also got a 2 week prescription for stronger painkillers to tide me over until my dental appointment.

  • Have you tried applying clove oil to the painful area?

No I haven't. The tooth itself is not actually particularly sore, just very sensitive. The pain is more along my jaw line, would clove oil still help for this?

NSD 9/20 yesterday :D. Work still incredibly busy so really just worked, went home, ate and then went to bed.

    Payday from 2nd job - £88.69
    - £30 electricity bill
    - £30 weekend away
    - £20 dentist
    - £8.69 debt

OH gave me back £10 yesterday so emergency fund is now sitting at a massive £50 :)

  • Not sure about the clove oil but I'd still give it a try in the hope it would reduce the need for painkillers. They tend to do unpleasant things to my tummy.

Thanks INOD, I got some on Monday. Can't say I've noticed a difference so far but worth a go. Thankfully the painkillers aren't affecting my stomach.

Just realised I haven't posted for 5 days although there's not much to report. Still snowed under at work, still have toothache, still tired :( OH is being fab and putting up with my general grumpiness. On a more positive note, I've achieved some more NSDs :D

Went for a run with my friend on Wed evening which was lovely as haven't seen her for a few weeks. Definitely need to invest in some winter running gear as I got a bit cold and some bits were quite dark so could do with a head torch.

NSD on Wed which takes me to 12/20 :D. Yesterday I spent £12.51 in the supermarket, needed coffee, teabags and a bulb for the sitting room lamp.
