Hi if you go onto Boots sale offers there still some items available,the Ted Baker devoted to you gift set £6,so snug cable knit boots medium only£4.80 JLS 30ml perfume £7 i havn't looked through it all yet but might be some more available,other offers on BB cream ect too.

Swansea Quadrant branch : first floor mostly empty but there is a wall of shelves with some toys inc Dr Who, Bah Humbug mugs and the house shaped bank(?) with sweets, calendars, photo cards, some giant crackers, two designs of xmas cards. I think there were some 'baby's first xmas' bits too.

Surprisingly, no slippers or slipper socks. Or toiletry sets.

I ordered at 5.02am Wednesday morning and had a pair of those cable knit boots in medium in my basket, along with 24 other items. The slippers were one of the 12 items I had cancelled. Now they have them back in stock?!? I've just been on boots.com and added them to the basket to see if they were actually available or just a 'phantom' item like so many other things have been recently, but oh yes they are available to buy, yet unavailable to send to me. Ridiculous.

ETA: has anyone who ordered any of the following items after 5.02am on Wednesday received them?

I ordered and received the Gok set and the Ted Baker set (order completed at 5.06 so after you)


Having spoken to a friend of mine who ordered at 8am and had 3/4 of her order cancelled (after they took the money), she spoke to customer services and the lady confirmed that a) collect from store orders were fulfilled before home delivery ones and b ) the warehouse is all automated, and if you have an order that that involves more than one dept (hers was 3, fragrance, beauty, toys and games) it's quite possible that by the time 2 depts have been packed your items in dept 3 could be out of stock, as another order could have leapfrogged you in the warehouse (not sure I've explained that very well). She got it all refunded in the end, but it's made us reassess how we'll do the online orders next year.
