The landlord 100% does not live at the house0

I'd be sitting in the council offices now, forget phones, forget emails and get down to the council. It's someone else's fault.0

If i break in and get the locks changed where would i stand ie in the eyes of the law? As my tenancy is with a letting agency and in the agreement i signed it says they can evict me fast because the landlord lives in the property but i know all the people in the house there is 8 rooms and no one is the landlord to my knowlage. Would i get arrested for breaking and entering? The landlord 100% does not live at the house
Then u are 100% a tenant and can return whenever u choose. Go to the police station, explain u want to make them aware, so they can assist if the LA returns. Tell them to look up protection from eviction legislation if they say civil matter. Make a report.

Well then I can't see how you can't have tenant rights and the lodging aspect does not apply. As we have already said, you really need to get back into your flat. They might put your belongings into storage and charge you. Or you might even find them on the pavement. I would get back there ASAP before they start emptying the place!0

Im going to go to the police station now to tell them im getting a locksmith. Enough is enough its time to get back in.0

You can dial 101 and they can send someone round, I doubt (from experiance) they will send someone round from the station but they could off advice over the counter. I would sus out the flat, if its empty then just get the loccy in, if there is someone there then def get police there FIRST!0

I would just prioritize things; get into flat; secure flat; check legal position with shelter; get alternative accommodation if needed from council; sue if applicable.0

There will be someone in the house as it is a shared house and there are 7 people living there aswell.
