Hi Ruthy1604 - I'm a little late starting the DHHC, as I got distracted looking at ebooks for my Kobo! I'm starting in 2 mins (12.40) so will check in a little later….it's the front/living room for me!
Ready….set…..GO!!!:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -
Same!
What a beautiful day! All the windows are wide open and the fresh air is gorgeous
Glorious... it is peeing with rain here

All basics done here and I went out myself with the dogs in the sunshine which makes a nice change after all the rain. The fields are like bogs though.
Thanks for asking about DS Bossy, he had a bad night but after two days the steroids had stopped the bleeding. Problem being that as soon as they take him off the bleeding starts again. So they're trying different tabs today and will do the internal camera thingy again tomorrow to try to see whats going on. He seems cheerful enough, he has his own room with good internet access!Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Second Double HHC done - living room:
Woodburner cleaned out;
Kindling (shed loads of it!) all stacked;
Fireplace cleaned;
Coal topped up;
Wood topped up;
Dusted/polished (inc skirting boards & door);
Wiped table & chairs;
Cleaned oil lamp (boy was that filthy!);
Put carp in 'office' (cupboard) for sorting when I get a time machine;
Vacuumed;
Got ironing ready for this evening…
Washing still in WM, because someone (ahem, me) forgot to press the 'start' button. Hope I can still catch some of this lovely weather when it's finished. Sorry to hear it's raining where you are Pigpen!
Time for coffee and a march through some fields with My Boy. I shall do the kitchen floor when we are back. No point in doing it now as he will just redecorate it again later…

OOh I hope not, Honey Bear - I'm personally of the opinion that 'good enough' will do! No teapot-polishing here!
Gorgeous here too (sorry Piggers) - so the duvet covers from the spare duvet and DS's bed were on the line early on, swiftly followed by pillowcases and sheets from my bed!
I've ironed yesterdays washing and stuck the maiden in front of a sunny, open window and I have cleaned the kitchen.
Nipped to Morries for the bread we forgot and picked up an i-tunes £25 for £20 - lots of birthdays coming up so it will be gifted.
I have cleaned out my HANDBAG - woot!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Afternoon all.
Its a laundry day today. 3rd load in, waiting on a Mr A delivery (feeling poo so didn't want to go to the shop itself) and watching the Masters final. Glorious sunshine here as well so I'm about to go open windows upstairs to air the house and let DD have her laptop back to do her homework
:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
It was sunny. It is raining.
I have three loads of soggy washing.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!Better is good enough.0 -
I have a happy 3yo. She said her room is beautiful
I've put the wall decal up (its a castle window with a view of Rapunzel and Eugene watching the lanterns - she loved that bit in the film) and hung the memory board.
On taking out the bunting, it's not very long, but my mum suggested I wait till the new bed arrives, and decorate it underneath where her little dressing up area will be
I've moved her dolls house from Xmas upstairs, with her princesses, and she has her dolly cot too. So lots of playthings. I'm not doing anything else until the new bed is in place.
We've had words about staying in bed, and I've not put the baby gate up, but reminded her I will if I need toshe said she will stay in her princess room :T
Also had a chat with DS. His birthday is a week tomorrow, but he will be at school and then swimming. So I've asked if he wants to do presents etc on Sunday (we're also going to the strictly tour!) so he has time to play. He said yes, but I ink we'll keep one or two for Monday night and I'll do picnic tea and cake for after swimming. He's having a joint party next Saturday with a pal, too
All sorted!
10 mins playing and then I'll go make a start on tea. No baths tonight as they've been swimming this morning and had showers.Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Pigpen baby here is always in babygrows too. So much easier to grab a vest and baby grow than try and find all the stuff for an outfit.
I also need to sort his clothes and get rid of all his tiny baby and newborn stuff but because of it all being unisex minus about 5 things I'm struggling to part with it all just in case (baby was the 1st on my side planned in 3 generations) . . I'm on the pill till I have time to make an appointment to have the implant fitted (pill failed with Ds1 and with DP adamant he doesn't want anymore I'd rather be safe than sorry and tbh I'm happy to stick at 2 for now at least ... I have too much going on to even consider adding another baby or pregnancy into the mix...
I have two more loads to dry not including one in TD ... and no more to wash till tomorrow.
I need to get everything ready for tomorrow. MIL Is looking after baby as Ds1 has a hospital app that isn't local with his consultant.
My new pushchair Is being delivered tomorrow (naughty I know) but I should be able to fund half of it by selling the one I currently have and tbh I the one I currently have I just cannot get on with so after every school run I end up in a not very good mood.
I also need to De clutter Ds1 wardrobe and mine!
I'm hoping to get as much done as I can next week (partly as a stress relief)
Oh and to add to everything that I have going on atm ... DP's cousin commented to me last night with 'when's the next one due' I'm by far a violent person but cud of quiet happily knocked him out I was back into my size 10 jeans by the time baby was 2/3 weeks old ... he's such a t#$t .... His dad (DP's uncle said to DP's cousin xxxx (DP's cousins GF) is alot fatter than jazz. Jazz has nothing on her for god sake you wouldn't even know she was a new mum for the second time think before you speak it's because of boys like you women worry so much....
It's got to me quiet abit and I've been really upset about it I know I shouldn't let it get too me but he's like the 5th person that has said something along those lines on DP'S side. Worst is they know my past!! And they are all bigger than me although I wouldn't say they were fat all 16+ ... sorry girls rant over ... I don't have anyone else I can vent too ...
Off to fly and let off steam catch you soon200 weeks £25,000.00 / £7000
