Hi, I want to purchase car from Motorpoint without seeing. I know their are risks involved but some of the cars that I see are in glasgow etc and am based in Leicester. Just wanted to know if anyone has actually done this?
Thanks for any help.

Long way to take it back for repairs.

Is the car that rare that nobody else is selling one?

Not a good idea, for as well as forgotmyname's, a major reason being, unless you have driven that particular model, it may not performas or be as comfortable or easy to get in and out of as you expect.

I've tried several cars in the past which didn't perform as well as expected, couldn't get a comfortable seating position, stank of cigarettes, or the max pedal to seat length was too short.

I bought two cars unseen a few years ago through Autoquake (now out of business unfortunately). Both cars were fine although there was a no quibble 7 day return if required.
On delivery, one car had a very small coolant leak from around the thermostat housing which I was happy to sort out myself but on mentioning it through an online questionnaire they said I should take it to the nearest Halfords / Nationwide auto centre for repair, which I did. Both cars are still going strong 4 years later. It was a good way to buy a car.

At least get some sort of AA / RAC inspection done on it if your going to buy it unseen.

But as its a Corsa, and there are thousands out there for sale, buy one closer to home and make sure you can drive it first :)

No, but have bought lots of cars from motorpoint without complaint.

Think you can pay £99 to gave it brought to Derby. Their cars are all fairly new & if you know you are happy with the model I would go with it.

Thanks for the reply. Will first make sure they have the log book and service history too, before buying.

Every car supermarket in the country will have a few Corsas in it, what's so special about this one you need to buy it from so far away?

Are you !!!!ing !!!!!!!! me??! A !!!!ing corsa?!

There are 1,643 USed vauxhall corsas for sale within 40 miles of Demontfort Hall.

What's wrong with... all of them? a car you can actually inspect, drive, vet, have independantly tested or inspected, view the paperwork and service history for? Ensure that you are happy with the quality of before signing away 3 years of your life on some finance deal?

    Jesus wept.

Understand what you are saying, but this car as a massive saving compared to others.
