Monday 2nd of June...
June !!!!!!... LOL
So, today I have bought new trainers as the sole fell off my old ones (no exaggeration) but I had to lay down in TK Maxx to try them on LOL I'm glad I have a self deprecating sense of humour
Then, while walking home I started to struggle in the middle of the road and an old woman of about 200 helped me!!! I'm not kidding, I need a Segway... Walking is for fools...
In other financial news, I bought my weeks food shop from Sainsburys using £16.58 in loose change (lots of 20 and 50p's), £2.50 of Nectar points and a £4 off a £20 spend voucherfeeling chuffed with myself
was a *burger* to carry home though LOL
Ciao bella!

Aww bless, your day sounds like a struggle. I'll bet you're paying for it today. Hope there's some improvement in the very near future
. Went back to work on Monday & my boss had a right go at me. I was livid!! Stayed at the end of my shift & had it out with her. She knows she was in the wrong but didn't apologise!! So today when she asked me to help her out this Friday, I told her not a chance!! And I won't be helping her out in the very near future either!! On the plus side, after a 6 hour long wait, I got to see Joey Essex. And big Brother is starting tomorrow, yayyy

Hi Tina,
Yesterday I felt like I'd been hit like a bus LOL but hey ho, it's not like I didn't have time to recoverluckily my boss has been great but I know I'm lucky as I've had "bad" ones in the past...
Today, I was at physio... I chased up my MRI and have been told it's been requested but my be a few more weeks
On the plus side, I was told off for developing a limp because of bad posture (and pain obviously) and grinding my fist into my backnot sound like a positive? Well it was because I was dragged into the gym and spent an hour doing various exercises and being taught how to walk again! It's not pretty and nobody could say I have a manly walk (think John Cleese doing a funny walk) I also keep forgetting to breath which is weird because when I try to hold my breath I can only do it for about 30 seconds while if I simply concentrate on walking then I can hold it seemingly indefinitely LOL
I'm now no longer seeing a physiotherapist for 1:1 sessions but have been put on a 6 week back management course so fingers crossed it'll fix me!!!!
Caio,

Correction.
Having been for a second walk today I realise I don't look like John Cleese doing his funny walk I'm more like Pete Venkman in Ghostbusters when he goes to meet Dana Barrett outside the concert hall and he's doing this weird skip/dance thing LOL
Really, I'm just paranoid... I hope... LOL

Friday the 6th of June
What a horrible night, literally not a single bit of sleep thanks to my spine trying to work it out of my body through my face...
I don't know if it's the exercises I was doing yesterday or what but MB wasn't a comfy boyI would have taken some Amitriptyline but I've not had any for a while so maybe a chat to my doc is in order...
So, anyway I decided to take advantage of the fact that it's a nice bright morning and (on the assumption town would be dead) I set out at 4am for a walk. I'm getting old... There were kids vomiting in the street, still drinking and Mac Donalds had a queue coming out of the door... Just the sight of them made my stomach turn over *Bleurrrrgh*
So now I'm here typing at 05:15 wondering what the hell am I going to do with a full day ahead of me? I'm sure I'll waste in in some way or another but right now the prospect is pretty daunting as I don't want to sleep through the day as then I'm pretty much guaranteed another sleepless night
On the plus side, I'm wide awake now and found nearly £8 in roadkill as I roamed the streets LOL £8!!! I can eat for a week (if I wanted to) off that much!!!
Laters,

Yup, I hate my back... I hate my legs and I hate walking, breathing and coordination!
When I walk heel to toe instead of limping I feel like I've gone back 4 months as the pain in my back sort of radiates out like a pulse
My back hurts, my bum hurts, my groinage area hurts, my stomach hurts and my brain has gone on vacation LOL I'm not going out this weekend...

Just keep patience. When they sort out your back, then you can start on your walk. I just picked up my specialist insoles to help correct the bad walk I developed pre and post surgery. I can see a small difference already.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Specialist insoles? Oooh... I've been telling my GP for years (like about 15) that I sometimes trip myself when I walk to fast and my foot apparently bends in and I walk more on the outside of my foot (which you can see just from my shoe soles).
What do these insoles do? Did you have to buy them yourself and were they expensive?
