If you sign into your account online there is a 'service status' function for you to check up if there are problems with your services. Mine has shown that they are aware of problems with the catch up TV and BB in my area and that an engineer is on his way. He must be taking the scenic route though as it has said this for well over a week lol.

Thanks for that... mine says Good service for TV, phone and broadband.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm on the same package as you and this has always been an issue for as long a i can remember. Very often, programmes are available on iplayer, but never appear on catch up.

Yes, as I said, it's not a "fault"

Don't you have any recording facilities?

This happens on all platforms not just Virgin Media. As Moneyineptitude has said, if you have a 'must watch' programme then just record it. Or even easier, series record. Then you'll never forget the 'must watch' content. :)
  • Yes i have noticed this too, particularly on a Monday when quite often ITV This Morning does not appear for a few days, if at all. Monday seems to be the worst day for programmes appearing late.

But you need a device to record on to be able to record. My Virgin Box isn't a recordable box, it's the original box we got about 8(ish) years ago.

Time to upgrade, or just accept that Catch Up is not as reliable as it could be...
