Missing TV programmes on Virgin Catch-up

We use Virgin for home phone, broadband and the very basic (M) tv package. The box is the same old box we first got when we joined Virgin.
I first noticed at Christmas that some of the catch-up programmes aren't on the menu for a few days after they were originally shown, e.g. The Christmas Day episodes of Eastenders, Call the Midwife and Mrs. Brown's Boys. It was about 4 days after Christmas they were on my On Demand menu but I didn't need to watch them when they eventually did appear as they were on my Virgin TV Anywhere listings on my laptop and I'd watched them on there.
Yesterday my daughter reminded me about 'The Undateables' which was on Channel 4 on Thursday but it's not yet on the listings on my TV but it is on my Virgin TV Anywhere on the internet so again, I'll be watching on my laptop.
Has anyone else experienced 'missing' tv programmes?

Are you searching using last 7 days function? I find they arent always listed here, but if you do a search by name in the all tv section, they are showing0

I searched by day... and then by channel (4 on demand for The Undateables).
My daughter and her boyfriend have a newly installed Tivo box as they moved into their new house a month ago and it was available for her yesterday. To be honest, the 'catch-up' is the only reason we've kept the Virgin TV... most of the stuff we watch is on Freeview/Freesat.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

Raise it as an issue on the VM Forums and they will normally arrange for someone to check the systems to ensure they are working correctly0

If you sign into your account online there is a 'service status' function for you to check up if there are problems with your services. Mine has shown that they are aware of problems with the catch up TV and BB in my area and that an engineer is on his way. He must be taking the scenic route though as it has said this for well over a week lol.0

Many shows take a lot longer to appear on Virgin Catch-Up than to appear on iPlayer and 4OD etc.
This is not a "fault" and is down to the broadcaster not Virgin.0 -
What I notice, the programme will not show on the normal channel, but be on HD channel.
Can't remember which show it was but nothing on the OnDemand by day or channel. But I went into HD Channels and there the missing episodes where.0 -

I only have '7 day catch-up' facility and, as 'The Undateables' was only on 'live' TV on Thursday it is well within the 7 day period.
If ever I am 'desperate' to catch-up on a tv programme I have missed I do go to iplayer and 4OD but I just happened to be watching TV while doing some work on my laptop so didn't want to minimise the 2 screens down on my laptop to watch it. I'll make sure I watch it on Thursday when it is actually broadcast.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
