I too have been stung by this company and received a letter from the liquidators today. I had noticed the change in website at the same URL so was expecting this.

A few hours earlier I had contacted my credit card company who will be refunding my money as the order was over £100 and covered by their policy.

It is extremely annoying. I had never used them before.

Is there nothing illegal with him just setting up shop in the same premises and using the same website to sell the same stock. Seems immoral to me and should be illegal.

I may call Ann Robinson and get Matt Allwright on the case

I just received mail from Green Valley Poultry Supplies (apparently because I was registered with chicken-house co.uk ) with the opening line: "Summer is coming but are you ready for red mite?"

I'm sorry to hear you've been ripped off, Swissland. I'm appalled that this scumbag is allowed to keep changing the name of the business in order to steal money from his customers.


I've noticed that a review website simply removes all the truthful reviews. I wonder who is clicking the 'report' button on the reviews??

I am one of his creditors and he is still selling my stock that is not paid for on amazon.


I did a credit check yesterday and it showed nothing and according to companies house Green Valley Poultry Supplies has not been registered as a company. He did however register another company in June called BTW Supplies or Products, can't remember which. So not sure whats going on. But it is annoying to see my products on Amazon for sale, and he hasn't even paid for them.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing - if only I had read the threads here before ordering from Green Valley Poultry Supplies. I felt so incensed at being mugged by them that I joined this forum to have my say. I am pinning my hopes on Paypal to get my £74 back. Teach me to be so trusting of the internet. I only hope all of those that have suffered will use all available means to keep the perpetrator in the open. It will certainly give Ebbw Vale or anywhere in Gwent especially if associated with poultry supplies a bad rep if anyone is considering doing e-business with them just in case.

Hi folks,
I have just escalated PayPal dispute to get my money back from an order on 13/07/14. Didn't check up on the company as have used (text removed by MSE Forum Team) to see if they can take the site down. To the business owner whom I am apparently not allowed to name on here (text removed by MSE Forum Team), you're a complete Cockerel. Why not stop taking orders if you can't fulfill them?

I hope everybody is successful in claiming their money back!

I would NOT join the Facebook group called The Poultry Pages. It was in partnership with Wells Poultry and promoted Wells heavily. All purchasing was diverted through a specific web address and the group received considerable payments as part of a percentage sales arrangement. Other more reputable groups include The New Poultry pages UK or Hatching Eggs and Chickens for Sale. Both are highly honest and reputable groups where more information can be provided to those that have lost out to Wells and the former director and current director of the replacement business.

Wow, shocked to see this, I'd noticed the name change recently but had no idea of the history, I purchased a large feed bin from them which arrived heavily damaged but have to say they did eventually resolve the issue, this was a couple of years ago though so clearly I was lucky as it was not a cheap item.

I always use Flytes of Fancy, Ann is really friendly and helpful and their delivery speed and customer service is fabulous. Glad I saw the warning page for Wells and clicked on it now though!

Feeling ticked off. Ordered 2 heat lamp bulbs which came really quickly - great - until one blew after just 6 days use. Have spent 3 weeks trying to get hold of them, e-mailed, phoned, left messages, even posted on their facebook page - they seem to have dropped of the face of the earth. A search for reviews led me to this page so I now know to never use this company again - I'm just glad it was a £5 bulb and nothing too expensive.
