I can confirm that Wells Poultry is out of business.I visited the unit last week,to be told by [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] is now running the company under a different name.I made an order at the beginning of April for over £200 which I did not receive.[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] said that I would have to contact my bank to get my money back.He was incidentally still taking online orders so please beaware,there is every probability you will not receive your goods.

I put out a warning on Twitter tonight on #chickenhour, which was retweeted a few times, so hopefully the news will spread and fewer people will lose their money.

Well done for pointing this out, had an order from them couple of months ago, and went to order something else couple of days ago and spotted the change of website - Will Not be using again!

Wow, this is all interesting news.


We did get our goods, though it must be said the feeder is rubbish.


We eventually got through to them after many days of hearing the ring tone. They told us there was a delay in their shipment from china. We eventually got the goods after about six weeks or maybe more.


We got lucky from what I am reading on this thread! We were going to place more and larger orders with this company and the poor service put us off permanently.

[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] in the only director of the new trading Company.
He is trading as Wells Poultry and Green Valley Poultry Supplies on Amazon. Someone should really tell them! and trading standards. Many bad reveiws , many good ones but not sure they are all genuine , some even from someone called [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] ??!

I received this nonsense response today.
I placed my order from abroad and my bank will not help me with a refund...i m not best pleased.

I believe you recently placed an order with [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM].
Unfortunately, the company went into liquidation at the end of June.
The assets of [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] have been sold as part of this liquidation and Green Valley Poultry Supplies have purchased the website but unfortunately, this does not extend to fulfilling outstanding orders with [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]

If you wish to claim a refund for any part of an order you will need to contact your card provider.

Although there is probably little we can do to help we will try to answer any queries you have and hope you will consider Green Valley Poultry for your future poultry needs.
