they can mandate her to take part in work experience/nolunyeering, but this would have to take into account her difficulties, and can not be 'inreasonable'
rgwt xab call her into the JC as often as they see fit.
BUT...
there is no hard and fast rule. every claimant is treated on an individual basis and it is up to their disability advisor to decide how frequently she needs to attend.
i havent had a job centre appointment for 15 months!0 -

i dpnt think its good that they have left me alone ... i want to work!
chances are, that her advisor may be the only disability advisor in her JC, but she can always ask * ahead of time ... not just turn up and then ask)
the disability advisor at my JC also covers 4 other offices and it only at my branch 1 afternoon a week0 -

looks like they push her to take any job0 -
I have still added more than you, bleating on about not mentioning the tories are shameful in what they are doing, so if you do not wish to read that, make use of the ignore feature, as trust me, you will be seeing it in a lot of my posts
I'm no Tory...., but it was actually Labour that introduced ESA and all these assessments etc., in 2008.
It was pretty bad at first, under the Tories, but once Harrington got involved, it did improve a lot, which is why there are virtually the same amount of people, over the two groups, receiving sickness benefits as there ever was.
ATOS have been dreadful, with their non qualified assessors, but as they are now being audited, and are worried about losing their contract, they are much less prone to lying than they were previously.
Lin :whistle:You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

Yes I know but it was the Tories that made a lot of changes and are the ones presiding over this mess, maybe things may change but I think it's a bit early for you to be talking all the mess is in the past, yes lets hope things change but only time will tell, until then I would advise people to be on guard.0 -

ATOS and the DWP used the earlier more controversial assessments as a sounding board to see just how much they could get away with before the welfare rights groups started putting pressure on.
The increasing success stories of claimants at appeal have influenced the DWP to rethink routinely rubber stamping ATOS's paperwork, but the most significant factor has been the ever growing amount of claimants insisting that assessments are recorded.
ATOS fought (and still are) this concession with gusto, blaming faulty equipment (interestingly the only recording device currently allowed is made by the same company that supplies the police with their interview recording equipment, note that the identical police equipment rarely breaks down).
At one point ATOS admitted there were only eleven recording devices available across the whole country, and some of them were 'out of service'.
We still have HCP's steadfastly refusing to administer recorded assessments, this option should not be open to them. If they don't like it they can try for a proper job within the medical profession, one that involves helping the sick/disabled rather than assisting the government to impoverish them.0 -
UPDATE..
she went to her appointment today at jobcentre ,they told her they will "help her " and they put action plan then she showed GP letter which says she waiting for counselling and adviesor agreed to call her in 2 weeks times , so looks like they keep seen her soon,
For how long they keep asking her to go to jobcentre or keep calling her? i heard its is 6 times ?? if its evry 2 weeks, looks like same as JSA0 -
I believe it's down to the advisor's discretion, they can ask to see her as often or as little as the want i'm afraid.
We can't give answers here as to how often etc etc, every advisor treats things differently.
If your friend feels it is becoming harmful to her health then she should get her GP involved (I believe she has) or consider appealing that the WRAG mandated actions are not reasonable. Or perhaps contact her local JCP in a more general manner to ask why the frequent contact from her advisor.0
