TV bought from pixmania.co.uk

Personally, and having heard bad things about Pixmania, I'd be inclined just to cancel anyway and source the TV from a UK based supplier. Surely you can get just a good a deal, or near enough of one.
Must admit,I have avoided them for this reason
they are often the cheapest, but not one I would buy from.0 -
The tv is £50 cheaper than on other sites. Hopefully I may even be surprised and it be a uk model. Wishful thinking!!0

Thats the problem with Pixmania they are based in France and if the item has to go back it will cost fortune.
The SoGA & DSR's regulations are the same across the EC, but you will have to pursue them in France.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0 -

However, their website does say:
under product information in the T&C's.
Its about time Dixons sold it0 -
I'm quite surprised to read all of this negativity about Pixmania.
I've bought various items from them and never had any problems - in fact, a camera I bought from them developed a fault just outside of their 2 year guarantee and they arranged for it to be fixed for me quickly and without any problems.
The plug "adapter's" that they supply are, to all intents and purposes, a 3 pin plug and do their job without any problems.
All TV's these days are designed to cover the European market (if not worldwide) so there shouldn't be any reason why it won't find UK Freeview as long as you select the correct country etc on initial setup.0 -

What, you think all the bad feedback on cr4pmania is lies??
You've been lucky ,,,,that's hardly a reason for others to ignore all the bad feedback on Pixmania0 -

Did I say that?
You need to bear in mind that people are much more likely to post negative experiences on online forums than positive ones. With the size of Pixmania I'd be surprised if the complaints amount to even 0.1% of their customers.0 -

All of those complaints seem to be from 2012. The one 2013 complaint was from someone who kept a lead because it was convenient. Most people would have tested the TV before installing it, but hey.0
