Morning
Our stainless steel howdens lamona sink on the draining part looks like it has rust spots already after only a few weeks after install
We look after it as you should but inevitably it will see a lot of water !
My question is if I complain to howdens and they provide a substitute , who pays to fit it ?
Cheers

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

You paid a third party to fit it?
I bet howdens will claim they were supply only but what would you do with a sink course you're going to fit it.
Give them a ring.0 -
I bought it through my kitchen fitter/builder so not sure which way to turn, get on well with the builder but aware that he did mention before his labour is only paid once should howden items fail
Things he did such as little snags with silicone he came back for
As you say will call howdens see what they say but can't imgine a stainless steel sink should be showing signs of rust already !!Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -

Unless it's scratched.
Your first port of call then is the builder who supplied and fitted. You have no contract with howdens.
I have heard of howdens not honouring warranties when a homeowner claims on a kitchen the builder bought.0 -
They sent the builder the warranty docs for all the appliances which we have with usNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

contact your builder - he supplied and fitted it , he will then contact howdens who are responsible for the supply of goods , it will be up to them to sort things out0

But I guess I will have to pay again for install as builder will say its not his fault goods have failed ?Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
