Wow Mizmir you are on a roll :T.
Fab news about the balance transfers and fingers crossed with the loan.
Sooo pleased to hear you are trying YNAB. I am still in my 34 day free trial, but I have 28 days left and I am already hooked.
Like you said, its just lovely how it makes you concentrate on the most recent paycheck and making every £ do a job.
Think it will really help me control my impulse spending.
Let me know how you get on. Make sure you watching the videos and sign up the the 9 day set of emails. Really helps clarify it. There is a good video about how to lay out your budget when you get paid weekly or intermittently. Really helped.
Must be a nice profession being a dog trainer, working with lovely dogs and seeing such an improvement when you have finished.
Keep going you are doing fab xxx0 -

LOL! Absolutely - in fact my online course is very upfront about being a course for owners - the dogs aren't so good at using the computer!
But seriously I do love it. I knew I would as I have been doing it part time for about 10 years but it is such a treat to be able to do it full time. It also leaves me so much more time for my own dogs.0 -

Well today was a change of plan. I ended up spending most of the afternoon sorting out YNAB, watching their videos and getting my budgets set up. I now have all my accounts in one place - including one for OH's wallet and one for our £2 treat pot!!
Every penny that comes in or goes out is going through this baby and is going to be put to work. Already feels better.
Better make sure the software is in February's budget!0 -
:j Hey Miz saw your post on KC's diary & tracked you down ! Love your focus and determination -*subscribes*Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Hi Ellidee! How are you doing? Great to see you here. Do you have a diary now?
No Miz I have never had a diary. I used to post on the old dfw daily chat thread and am really just a serial lurker !Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -
