Studies have shown that stress leads to less s e x so lower conception rates. Stress doesn't block conception or pregnancy. Relaxing will not magically cure infertility but may help a couple cope better with infertility.

Hi, we tried for 12 months with no success and then visited the gp. Had blood tests etc to check I was ovulating and OH had a sperm count check. Also a scan to check ovaries etc. the result was that I was diagnosed with PCOS. Although luckily I was still ovulating. The advice I got was to give it another 6 months at this point it was 18 months on from when the tests had been started etc and after the 6 months if still no joy then they would look into fertility treatments. I found out exactly 6 months later that I was pregnant the week before my next appointment at the fertility clinic.

So all in 2 years to get pregnant first time and second time around it took 12 months. Defiantly see you GP, I'm certainly glad I did.
