Unfair Dismissal - DIY Employment Tribunal

There's no 'if' about it. Fact is they claim they were offended, hence the complaint. Thanks, I looked and found that I had already stated that if they were offended, then they needed an apology right at the outset. I didn't say I had offended but as this was from the very beginning, it will definitely if they felt offended, by anything, they needed to say so and it would not be a problem to make amends. I did accept that if they had been offended I was only too happy to say sorry.
As they were offended, it's not for the perpetrator to decide what they need.
Maybe they felt that after 2 years, 'sorry' wasn't enough.0 -
You can expect to be renting your house from your employer ... Very soon!0

So what can the employer do then?0

Its the nasty made up stuff that has no basis - facts are not corroborated and do not stack up so the investigation is flawed.0 -

You don't pay the other sides costs, the fees are paid up front and it is for the judge to decide on the facts. It has never been about the money. there are details that cant be released at the moment. This is is about showing that you can stand up for yourself and do it yourself. I will gladly publish everything within the law after the event which is soon.
Ill informed comments like that will not help people to go to tribunal with genuine claims.0 -

There was no need to twist to context of conversation that is independently witnessed as not offensive and belittling as they put it. it was all 1 sided and for the companies own agenda. And to get it all wrong in the investigations and not be challenged by the panel makes it wrong. Lies always come out. I trust in that and know that I am a good person. If I have done wrong I accept it but when there are other forces at play, you have to make a stand. This is what our country stands for is it not? Justice, fair play and freedom.0 -

You are right, there is no way to know but its no excuse to tell lies and not expect the consequences. If what had happened did happen then I would not be spending the beat time away from my baby challenging this so vehemently.0 -
I have only scanned through the thread but can't see that the 'band of reasonable responses' test has been mentioned. OP, I trust this is what you have based your argument on, both with regards to the investigation and the dismissal? The process does not need to be perfect, it simply needs to be reasonable.0
