You should call Lloyds and ask is you are pre-approved for a credit card. If not you will have CPD against credit card as well.
Not always will pre-approved offers be shown through online banking offers.
Lloyds update pre-approved limits on the 20th of each month.
Good Luck!
Why would someone get a CPD?0 -

Bounced direct debits, always going overdrawn, bad credit, missed payments etc..0 -

You can have a CPD on a credit card yet you might not have one on loans or an Overdraft or if you have no lending on all products this is called CPD99.
CPD are placed when opening an account and very rarely disappear.
To much borrowing outside of lloyds and get you CPD, defaults missed payments outside lloyds can also get you CPD also.
As another poster said they'll update your account around the 20th."You know when it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold"0 -

Never missed a payment, never bounced a DD. I like to think I'm a good customer!
Always pay my CC off in full each month ,however.
The only thing is I'm stoozing my student OD BUT I make regular credits to my account.0 -
Some banks are just fussy. My own bank let me have small overdraft with no qualms. Applied twice for their CC, instant decline - pretty decent history with them too, I don't go seriously overdrawn like some people my age might either. Bet I'd get another decline too if I asked them now. Yet I have other better products. Odd thing, banks...
This is why I often speak up when people say your own bank should be first port of call for CC. often seems it's the worst thing to do, what with the CPD thing it seems being a customer of the bank can go AGAINST you, rather than work for you. Companies like vanquis wouldn't exist otherwise...Oh, you wee bazza!0 -

Stoozing an ovedraft will not help your internal rating with the bank. You should phone telephone banking and ask them your risk band between 1 and 9, 1 the best and 9 the worst, what your pre-approved limits are. This will give you an indication of your standing with the bank.0 -

So they'd tell me over the phone?0 -
If you've got a decent credit history of managing credit well then all cards are easy to get.
I don't think that is necessarily true these days. Card companies alter their criteria all the time.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I phoned up and was told I'd have to go into a branch and ask as they're not allowed to give it over the phone (I did feel I should was been fobbed off )0 -
If you have a student or graduate account with Lloyds you aren't allowed a second current account.
I had the same issue last year - they said we already get a generous enough overdraft!0
