  • hi
i have complained to two of the shops i use regularly one of which i have receipts for that day. One of the retailers customer services team is getting back to me and the other retailer have said they have no control over these and cannot cancel it! Any advice? shall i still get this appeal drafted ready for PE in case the retailers dont do anything ? thanks

its already drafted in post #18 , and yes is the answer, do it anyway
  • i have done the appeal for PE have used mainly redx template adding that i have proof of me shopping in that retail park on the day as everyone seems to agree that they will automatically reject this. Will come back here once i hear from PE regarding the POPLA appeal for which i will need help with Thanks
  • I simply filled in parking eyes online form with a copy of my car park ticket and receipts from the stores l had visited on that day.

I was fifteen minutes overtime put l explained that it took me that long to put baby, shopping and goods into the car and then queue to exit car park.

I did ask for the poplar reference if my appeal was not granted and got a reply within four days.

    good luck

    not true at all !!

dont know where you read that

its well known that they do accept appeals where people have shopped onsite and paid say £30 or more and can prove it. there is a lot of evidence about this in the ALDI threads too

I myself know that this is true as it happened with my relative and I posted it, and its listed in the soft appeals in the NEWBIES sticky thread , as well as some in the successful appeals sticky thread

its true they will refuse most appeals, but not all appeals

  • Hi
Right i have had my Parking eye appeal rejected even after they asked for proof of receipts which i sent them. Their letter states that i did not meet the discretionary criteria set by the landowner. also i did not provide sufficient evidence to show i did not break terms and condition on the signage.
So i have the POPLA verification code now so how do i go about appealing to them? on what grounds should i base my appeal on ?

Thanks for all your previous help

all you need can be found from here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822 post #3 which I already gave you in post #12 on page one and post #18 gave you the appeal grounds and you have also been given several links to similar threads too

Wonder what secret payment amount clause is required here then!

To the OP - you are aware that the POPLA code is strictly time sensitive. Have you checked its validity and how long you have got left to make the POPLA appeal. The link to Parking Cowboys checker is in the NEWBIE sticky thread - the one the contains ALL relevant information.

There are plenty of Parking Eye POPLA appeals by searching the forum to use and adapt - but please post up before submitting - we wouldn't want you to make any errors at this stage.:)
  • Hi everyone
should i write a short bullet point type of appeal as i have seen in many of the examples on here for my POPLA appeal or should i use the more long winded version of the examples on here ? i have looked at the links i have been sent but again information overload which works better ?
    many thanks
