Email them to yourself with an email address setup on your iPad. Then you can open/save the attachments on your iPad book app.

I do this for my missus. I download her books, email them to her on the iPad and then when she opens each one it auto-imports it to the Kindle app.

Depends how you purchased them on your iPad.

Did you use Apple's iBook app or Amazon's Kindle app?
  • I purchased them off Apple Ibooks on my email

My new kindle has a different email address and kindle help told me I couldnt transfer ibooks.

The iPad is incompatible with android\windows based hardware.
Do you seriously believe you need a Mac to be able to transfer stuff to an iPad, or are you just trolling?

iPads are of course compatable with windows based hardware. You might need to download some free software from Apple, but that doesn't suddenly make your PC a Mac or whatever nonsense people like marleyboy might tell you.

With e-books, you might be able to re-download them from wherever you bought them from - there is a Kindle App and an Amazon one where you can log in to your Kindle or Amazon account.

iBooks uses the ePub file format, in common with every other ebooks provider except Kindle. Kindle uses it's own proprietary file format, MOBI or AZW, and can't read ePub format files.
You can convert them to PDF (although t hen you can't reflow them), or maybe use Calibre to convert them to be readable on the Kindle, depending on whether they're DRM-protected. But you will be in breach of copyright if you do so, as you've only purchased an ePub licence.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Please try not to be selective in my post. If you read the post properly you will see I have indicated that I am unsure as I DONT have any apple products...... In case you had trouble in seeing the paragraph you have omitted to quote. (A common trait when trolling).....
I am sure a Macbook is compatible with the iPad so should be transferable, but as I don't have any apple products I cannot say for sure.

Marleyboy - your post was just pure wrong and misleading. iPad is as compatible with Windows as it is with OSX.
You use iTunes (in Windows or OSX) to manage the content on the iPad - just like an iPod or iPhone, it's a secondary device - all your stuff is meant to be on your computer, and you choose from that what to put onto the iDevice. Run iTunes, plug it in, and you'll see tabs along the top for music, pictures etc. You can also put books on the same way.
You want an iProduct, you use iTunes, or jump through many hoops to avoid it.
