Well I'm definitely not posh, but I am debating whether to open the bottle of wine I got from M/S today....
More to follow....
I'm having a glass of pineau de Charente instead, chilled - very moreish:)
So be warned, I may be chuntering more than usual tonight.

I didn't want to admit that we never usually open a wine on the day we buy it, we usually use up something older first. :rotfl:
One of the Mystery reds that arrived today is worth £18 a bottle. Does that make me posh.
For anyone that's interested the Mystery whites worked out £98 worth and the reds £108, and this was how much I found them selling for today so included any half price offers. The slightly disappointing thing with the reds is that 2 of the same wines, a Macon rouge are only in 50cl bottles but it does have very good reviews.
Nothing was priced below £5 a bottle including the Weight Watchers one.
It's surprising in both boxes the ones that looked like cheap wines from their labels are actually the most expensive.
That's pretty much what I've found with these boxes in the past. It does make me wonder what would be in the £48 though?? Some of the ones Ive had in the bargain boxes aren't cheap wines.....I wouldn't try a £48 one unless I had codes/discounts to get down to £3 a bottle or less.
Well done though  not jealous at all :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I can just imagine her allowing you to disappear... I think the bender will be for both of you! Have you been to the foam party?

It is difficult to do anything without her knowing.
In relation to school, he could get a copy of the birth certificate (as proof of PR) for the school and arranged to have a 'chat' avoid the term meeting as this may result in her being informed as she has a right to be at any meeting about her child (so does the dad but non resident parents tend to be forgot).
In relation to social services, the source of a concern has to be disclosed unless the person has asked to remain annonymous, even then if the source is ordered to be disclosed by a judge it has to be. Hence why people refuse to provide any information about themselves, but their concerns are not given as much weight
I would be tempted to seek legal advice, but with the changed to funding in 2013 he will have to pay the legal costs himself
I've warned him that he will most likely have to seek legal adviceThis is unbelievable! have SS no discretion! of course she would deny it!
ss "excuse me have you been mistreating your son?"
ex-SIL "no"
ok case closed...I would take this to the top, it's is shocking!
I know this is prob not in the same league but SS failings led to the deaths of Victoria Climbe, Baby P etc have these fools learnt nothing!?
He is taking this further, but we aren't dealing with that kind of extreme. Thankfully. Went to m7s but have been in twice today and it was the same old bird on the ss till chatting with the fat, baldy security guy whom i'm sure is watching me with my phone out using the calculator. So only done a drive by and got that feeling in my gut telling me to steer clear. I read TrulyMadlys post saying that they had been and was working but dunno what time.0
