I didn't want to admit that we never usually open a wine on the day we buy it, we usually use up something older first. :rotfl:
One of the Mystery reds that arrived today is worth £18 a bottle. Does that make me posh.
For anyone that's interested the Mystery whites worked out £98 worth and the reds £108, and this was how much I found them selling for today so included any half price offers. The slightly disappointing thing with the reds is that 2 of the same wines, a Macon rouge are only in 50cl bottles but it does have very good reviews.
Nothing was priced below £5 a bottle including the Weight Watchers one.
It's surprising in both boxes the ones that looked like cheap wines from their labels are actually the most expensive. :cool:0 -

Just been to the freezer in the shed to get bubbs beef out and its unplugged. Seems oh unplugged it last weekend for some reason and forgot to plug it back in.
So a large quantity of smelly beef, chicken fajita and other bits to dispose of.
I could quite easily kill
Oh noI only have one freezer and when it has defrosted for whatever reason in the past, it has made me cry. Hope you're doing okay!
Just got back from my shopping trip to T, DP wandered off to do my list and I wandered around with the scanner. Ended up being there for 2 hours and came out with a huge trolley load of stuff for about £25... very happy! My bargain of the day was 2x £1 rugs from T though, coincidentally perfectly matching the colour scheme in our bedroom. Chuffed.
Also, if anyone goes to T and is interested in a yoga mat, they are supposed to be £10 reduced to £6.50, but mine scanned through at £3.50 (I'd give bc but it's in the back of the car and I'm pyjamafied now). Also 25p headphones, calculators, Zhu Zhu pup toys and outfits, £1 cake stand and 10p Christmas bunting for next year.0 -

Does driving between multiple Ts across a number of towns/cities and ending up not returning home until 5am count while chasing glitch/RTC items ...?
Or anything to do with DTD? Keeping a poker face and trying not to smile while they either "forget" to give you DTD and pay up when you point out the notice behind them, or listening to their apology that you have been overcharged and trying not to smirk is always a challenge :A. Particularly the time I had bought four large joints of beef and was paid to take them away ...
Taking back a large electrical item after getting DTD was probably pushing it a little ...
or getting a large screen £300+ TV for less than £100 after DTD as they had put a poster on the box but I didn't notice they had not put a yellow RTC barcode over the barcode until after I had paid ...
