Went to Sainsbobs yesterday, to get two free packets of Warburtons Thins with MOC, plus £0.60 off my shopping. Wouldn't you know it, the SA went off to check the SEL price (even though I was ever-so-subtleley pointing at the £1.30 price on the SS till display), came back, and entered the after-BOGOF price of £1.00.
(in voice of Scooby Doo villain) "Curses! If it wasn't for those meddling SAs!!!"


But, called in again today, same store, and got an SA who's attended to me before (no sniggering at the back), so when it came to key in the price, she said "It's OK, I remember you from last time":o - and then entered £1.39 for the price.:) So, £3.69 of shopping, and I paid £0.31, or a 92% saving:j

Around 18 months ago I was contacted by a family who wanted to do a house exchange, they really liked our house but next day called to say that decided to stay where they were, fair enough. I'd already looked at their house to see what it was like (only from the outside, wife didn't come)
