I was told years ago I had 'polycystic appearence' but was never diagnosed with pcos, but still needed a shove (hence the clomid baby) so I know the cheapies are just as good as those over priced branded ones :)
With the 5:2 weightloss my system seems to have settled down so I'm just hoping this is a blip and I'm just running over for once.
Better get my bum out to the shops, back later :)

I missed one completely back last year  scared the living day lights out of me. My body was doing all sorts of stuff to me, but poas was no 9 times.

    But get peeing lady!

I've recently started 'jogging' in my case more appropriately labelled 'even walkers go faster than you' but hey I'm outdoors and sort of moving ;) I'd really appreciate recommendations on the footwear one should be going for. I purchased running trainers by Karrimor but have been told that because when held in the hand that the toe section can be squished upwards towards the heal it proves that there is not that much support.... what do you guys look for / think is best ?

    TIA :)

I've just taken it up too, and your description is way better than mine :D

I went up sports direct and annoyed the hell out of them, trying all the shoes on for size then prancing about in them.

I found two pairs out of about 40 that I tried. I ended up with 2 pairs of reebok and other than the water retention, which I can't blame on the shoes, I can't fault them.

As long as they are supportive to all parts of your feet, you should be ok.

Most proper sports shops do free gait analysis so they can tell you what type of shoe you should be looking for

Tried Canary Wharf M&S today for the £5 off vouchers and was told they had been told to throw them away!
Found 2 single ones at end of a till but they finish today.
Westfield Stratford last week, CS gave me a couple of singles (for last week) out of their pocket, like it was illegal or 'in the know' type thing, been sick since then so only popped out quickly today to post birthday gift.
Will try Stratford tomorrow. There were plenty around last year but didn't know then what we do now.
