Agree. Can't tell you how many times I went to Case conferences about children we knew 100% were being mis-treated or abused and hardly any of these poor children were protected by Social Services.
If there was any intervention it was usually too little too late.

The threshold for intervention is significant harm which has to be evidence based and stands up to scrutiny of the courts.

Wonder if we might have better luck in S or A. OH said the woman at the till was "all over him" and tutting and sighing at him...
    Good work:T
Shame about the Warburtons MOC; I've had no problems in Mr T.

Yeah. I will try in A tomorrow maybe as I'm heading over that way anyway. OH paid at the till (I was busy wandering around scanning the clearance items while he did the "real shop") and he didn't know that if a coupon doesn't work he can ask them to send the item back.. So we have paid full price for the thins. He knows for next time :rotfl:

As for the clearance shopping, I got a pretty nice jewellery case - more like a set of mini drawers (just two nice deep drawers). I don't have much jewellery though, so I think it'll be my new coupon & shopping list drawers! I thought it was a bargain at £5 :j

Yeah the Ts means Tennants lager :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've used it without a problem in several Mr Ts, also Morries.
Even better, though, if you have a Sainsbobs near you. They are £1.30 per packet, but there's a 2 for £2 deal. Buy two with two coupons, and it deducts two lots of £1.30 (SA usually has to key in price) = £2.60; then the till takes off the 2 for £2 discount, so you get £0.60 off the rest of your shopping. I've been using this method for the last couple of days, no problems, adding shopping just over £0.60 (best to make it a little bit over, otherwise it looks a bit suspicious when you're paying zero for all your shopping:o) - result, free-ish shopping:) For example, yesterday bought two boxes of tissues for 26p; today, got two tubs of dips (normally £1.30 each, also on special offer) for 70p:T

    Maybe till lady fancied him?
Next time, tell OH to blow her a kiss:kiss:

Yeah I think Sainsbobs is often better around here for coupons anyway, much better customer service than the others for the most part. I'm going to have to print off some more thins coupons :rotfl:But actually I don't know if we can eat 3 packs before they'll go off!
