If you want me to be honest, social services in my experience won't want to know unless there is something serious going on. Is there any way you could get friendly with her, even if it means going cap in hand, so that you can see more of him and help him in his life. It would also perhaps give you a chance to compile evidence for social services.

Agree. Can't tell you how many times I went to Case conferences about children we knew 100% were being mis-treated or abused and hardly any of these poor children were protected by Social Services.
If there was any intervention it was usually too little too late.

Glasgow will have more Ts than Greggs at this rate

There's a story- probably an urban myth - that every second pound spent in Inverness is spent in Ts.:D

Social services will bother with it if floflo was to pester them enough. When my mum tried to get us taken of our dad, she phoned social to say he was making us work 6am to 9pm in his shop, all lies, but she kept phoning them that they did eventually call dad, sister and I in to talk to us.
However I would use social as a last resort as the questioning was uncomfortable for me at 15 let alone a 10 year old

Such a shame, I have very little contact with my next oldest brother due to his wife, I barely know their children. I just can't cope with her behaviour.
So sorry to hear that, FloFlo.
I just cannot imagine not being close to my sister and watching her kids growing up. Her eldest has moved away from home, to the same city where I used to live, and so we are all planning a visit next month, when I can show him all my old haunts. My sister used to visit me when I lived there too - she was then about the same age as her eldest is now.
(Sorry, just read that back and realised that sounded a bit selfish and 'happy family' boastful - didn't mean to.)

Jelly I posted a pic last night of my haul which had the moshling zoo in it. It's this

Bad reviews for the price but I don't care- only paid £1 in Ts!

I'm going to have one thing in focus tomorrow, and that's to get, and give him loads of cuddles. I always tell him he could make a fortune if he was to sell cuddles, they're the best :D

I will talk to him away from everyone and everything else, and try and piece together what's going on. I'll make my mind up what to do about it after.

Thank you everyone for your advice, you have no idea how much I appreciate it :A

Good luck with the tetris. ;)

I got up in the middle of the night to put the other finest one in the freezer. :o

I had only given one away. I had sort of planned to take one to DD1 as was not sure if I was going to visit this weekend but had a bungalow viewing this morning anyway. I just haven't been thinking straight at all this week.

Have I missed something - why a viewing - PM me
