He's 10. He's a very immature 10. It's knowing what I can say to him without him going back and telling his mum. I know I can't be horrible about her but away from him, I want to cave her head in
If you want me to be honest, social services in my experience won't want to know unless there is something serious going on. Is there any way you could get friendly with her, even if it means going cap in hand, so that you can see more of him and help him in his life. It would also perhaps give you a chance to compile evidence for social services.0 -

Just want to share that it has been a good day...
One friend had had twins at 27 weeks gestation before Xmas, she has been able to take both babies home from hospital today. And another announced her wedding.. whoop whoop.
and I have not done any work!
But on the negative side... the dog has wind and smells terrible!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
That's good news, apart from the dog venting carbon dibackside all over the place.
Here's a nice choon

I expect all presents given by glitch/deal chasers are thought to be got by cheap means if they know of your pass time!!
Even when I pay full for certain presents my DD and DS say they feel ok about the cost of the item as they KNOW I didn't pay full cost...they have to be reminded that I don't get everything on a deal!!
Lol you need to glitch harder then!Personally I ain't bothered if they know it was from a deal or a sale, it's the thought that counts and they get a better pressie than if I had to pay full price.

Rang up Boots Customer Services abut the accident I had. They are looking into it and are going to call me back on Tuesday after getting a copy of the accident report and speaking to the store.
Also went to the walk-in-centre to get checked out.
Nurse thought ankle will be OK when it heals, but thought knee was a bit crunchy and I should got to A&E for an X Ray, but suggested I didn't go Saturday Evening, so might go tomorrow with a good bookShame I don't have a smart phone
Apparently some of the walk-ins do X Rays, of legs, but only below the kneeAsked why, but she had no idea.

I'm having a baking day tomorrow. Planning in my head what I'm making
The focaccia is a James Morton recipe (the guy off Great British Bake Off a year or two back, in the fair isle sweaters). I've tried a few different recipes, and this was by far the best - and the easiest, too. I posted the recipe online elsehwere, here it is (with my scribbled notes on it!)

hopefully big enough to download and print out. Do try it, TM:)
Would also love to know what you're planning to bake ... maybe a few piccies of the finished results? (and from purpledonkey too:))
I used to do a lot of baking (happy memories of making bread during the summer, letting it prove outside on the step, then a quick trip to the pub for a 'cheeky pint' while it was baking, and fresh-baked bread on the return), then slowly got out of the habit for no particular reason, so am trying to get back into the routine.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

There's no chance of that, she's totally shut down on me. She's using him to get at he and the only person who knows why is her
If I drop him home tomorrow, she'll stop my brother weekends. She really is that vindictive :mad:
Jezzer would have a field day with her.
