Popped to the Boots sale yesterday. Got stuck in traffic for an hour so was late but got some nice bits. did spend too much but my brother bought all my loo rolls yesterday ( he has a mobile loo business) and my hairdresser bought some and some of my wine lake. So although i spent some i got it back by the end of the day. So my stash is just different.
However it all kicked off at T-time. My younger sister is 58 in January and we had booked to go to Nice to stay at other sister's place. however since we booked she has got the builders in and if we went we would have to stay in a rented flat. Younger sister said she would pay half and i need not pay but i know this would then be chucked at me that she paid. I am trying to get on top of my bills this month so said i would give her my plane fare ( £58.00) and stay home.
Now she has 2 jobs in London next week and there is a day off in between which would mean staying in London. Now usually this would mean being paid about £100.00 for the day off. I was going to talk to her this week about putting my money up this year as nearly everyone who works for her gets paid more than me. She has a very good business and makes good money but has a habit of dropping my money sometimes if she feels she has not made enough profit. I have been putting up with this as I need the money but decided over Xmas i need to deal with it.
So she rang me last night to discuss the trip and it was agreed i would not go and then five minutes later she rang back about the work. She said she would pay me my day rate and £30.00 for the travel day ( down from £50.00!!) and £30.00 for the day off. I for once spoke up and said " You are joking" and she said well i can get someone in London. I said I was going to ask her about money but if that was the case she could get someone else and I would not work for her anymore.
Yes i need the money but i also need my self esteem and pride. So the evening then descended into a million phone calls and texts trying to get me to agree. went to bed at 9.30 and am now exhausted.
What do you think?

Does anyone know if there are SS tills at merry h1ll store? Ive checked on the list but it's not on there.
Also received my CF Life vouchers so a good day.

Morning all

It's hubby's birthday 1st Feb so I'm planning on whisking him away for one night - maximum of 2 hours drive from MK. I want a nice boutique hotel - was going to do Malmaison at Oxford or Hotel Du Vin at Cambridge but been there a few times now so need some inspiration. My fave is the Forbury in Reading. Any Reading people there? What is the Grosvenor Casino like?

In T's you can up to 3 weeks after purchase, they can print off a receipt if you know when you bought it. I checked by bank statement. Sorry if already answered
