  • So I have been spending again! I know I know but I needed clothes so went on a hunt round the charity shops :-)

I have put another 2 50p's and 2 20p's in my relevant jars and have £1.15 to put in my loose change jar :-)

    Totals so far

    20p's £1.80
    50p's £6.00
    Loose change pot £2.17

Over the next few days I should be making payments to debts and trying to pay extra payments. Although I still need to tax the car and find the electric and gas bill money!

Hey ho onwards and upwards :-)

  • I am feeling very frustrated today! I am desperate to move house and get planting a veg patch but there is no move in sight so I have decided to do what I can in tubs and planters.

I have seed potatoes ready to chit this should save me some money come harvest time. I have lots of seeds that I plan on starting off this week. My problem now is I really want a potting shed and greenhouse to make it all easier and more fruitful! I can't afford either and what's the point if I am going to move? The problem with the whole moving thing is I have been waiting a year already and nothing has come up yet. I have packed as much as I can ready and now feel completely frustrated! My life is in boxes and seems to have been on hold forever! I hate this time of year because this is when I start thinking about what I can grow etc and I am stuck :-( still never mind not alot I can do about it really!

    Must keep praying!

I put some more loose change, 20p's and 50p's away the other day as reflected in my signature.

Now I am off to over pay a credit card bill :-)

  • So another 60p in 20p's and £2 in 50p's put away in their relevant pots. Another £2.18 in the loose change jar. Signature all updated and I must say it is so nice seeing it build knowing I have survived January without having to raid my pots or use my credit card! Still not quite sure how I have managed it but so grateful to everyone here and their challenges because without them I don't think it would have happened!

Now I am waiting on money going in my bank tomorrow to start paying more debts :(

On a plus note though I have managed to pay £140 off my debt in January and I have managed to start saving with my bank I have over £50 and that is unheard of for me! Also my 20p's, 50p's and loose change is up to £17.76 :T I am trying to pay debts and save and it is hard because I keep thinking I could use that £50 to pay some more debt BUT I know I need to build up my saving too as I have nothing to fall back on and I must get a nest egg going! I suppose I just have to decide when my nest egg is big enough and then channel into my debt.

I must go and make some more 1% charts to date I have managed a whole 1! I need to make them and finish my files because I am sure I have lost track of my over payments and 1%'s so this afternoon is about tidying up and finishing my files and updating them all! If I loose my way I know I will give up and I really can't afford to do that as seeing it in black and white motivates me!

Keep going peeps we can do it!

  • Ok back to the drawing board! I have managed another 1% chart (still need to fill it in) but I quit! Tomorrow I will spend some money and buy graph paper! My eyes can't cope and either can my hands I have a condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type 3 and find writing and holding pen/pencil for periods of time painful hence why I had only got 1 done before! I just cant force myself through the discomfort and pain so tomorrow I make my life much easier and spend some pennies! This way I should be able to do them all tomorrow night even if hey don't all get filled out!

    I will conquor my debts!
