Hi i tried to post this last night but lost it all:mad:

    This is a great idea:j

    1. Lose 2 stone i'm currently 13st 13lbs:eek: so i will aim for 11st 13lbs. I'm going to do this by following the weight watchers plan but at home cause i've got all the stuff and can't afford the classes.:money:

    2. Exercise more which will tie in nicely with number 1. I want to start walking more and also want to start going to aqua aerobics.

    3. Stick to my budget. no matter how hard i try i always fail on this one.:o
I'm going to write in my spending diary every day not just when i can be bothered.

    4. Make more of an effort with my appearance, especially my hair which is so long it takes forever to straighten. I will take some time in the evening to deal with this.

    5. Get up when my alarm goes off and shower before the baby wakes up. This may seem trivial but if i don't get up till the baby does trying to have a shower is a nightmare:rolleyes:

    6. Get rid of all my clutter by selling it on ebay/amazon. Want to have made £100

Well did a massive de-clutter over the week-end and got rid of bags of stuff to the tip. Books are now organised in order of what I will read next. I even got all my washing and ironing up to date today Monday tomorrow and an empty washing bin.
I am determined to sort out the electrical trunking in my bedroom tomorrow as I have no other outstanding chores to do .
onwards and upwards folks .Even tackling one of my to-do jobs has inspired me.
I am trying to keep busy as I get the results of my biopsy's on Tuesday, so positive thinking is the watchword this week for me

    Ok my ones will be:

1.weight loss a major one for me this, need to lose between 5-6 stone, so healthier eating and more exercise, so to get out more to get walking, this will be a major achievement for me

    2. mealplan more variety in our meals, normally just have the same
things every week, will also bring our cost down alot.

    3. flylady keep going with flylady routine, as havent been doing it for a
couple of weeks, really helps to get me organised!

Think that is ok to get started with:j

Couldn't agree more JackieO... this weekend I managed to remember to moisturise Saturday and Sunday and plan to do the same today and wear foundation to work. Maybe I'll even brave a bit of lip gloss :rotfl:

OH finished the bath panel this weekend (grout just needs to dry through today so we can wash it all back down. Next job there is to patch the ceiling, sand the door frame and paint both. Also he laid most of the wooden edging in the living room, until he ran out of the stuff so I'll try to remember to ask him to get more on the way home from work tonight

We also started to tackle the spare room so that we can start making it into a nursery and we can then get baby clothes down from the loft to freshen up.

Doing those few bits has made me feel really spurred on! :T :T

The wight loss.... Hmmm... a bit of a bad day yesterday when I was a tad more shocked at something than I expected myself to be... stuffed myself with choccie bisccies last night and am eating more now after I've already had toast.... I don't think this will help :o

    Morning all! :hello:

This challenge is great!! Welcome to all newcomers!! Over the weekend, OH and I have done the following towards the goals:

    1. Half the box of CD's that has been lurking has now been listed on ebay - have made £28.82 so far and that includes having 31 items still without bids :D

    2. Thanks to a concerted effort between the two of us, our frontroom, kitchen and bathroom now look very tidy indeed.. was actually happy to spend time washing up yesterday cos it is soooo nice to be in a neat and tidy kitchen!!

    3. This weekend has been a experiment, I have had my hair down and styled ALL the time.. it has made a huge difference to the way I feel and taking the time out to look nicer has improved my mood tenfold!

So todays plan is as follows:
    1. Meal plan the week
    2. 10 mins in each room
    3. Kleeneze business officially starts today so as long as the weather holds out I will be taking DS with me for a walk to post some catalogues later on!! Is it sad to say I am actually looking forward to it? Just hoping I avoid the rain :rotfl:

Will report back later as to how I go on, good luck with the new week all!

    Sarah xx

Can I please join? I'm a newbie to the OS thread, but I have loads of goals I keep thinking about but never actually get round to attempting.

In the next 19 weeks I would like to:

    1. Lose 2 stone. Best weigh myself first to see what that would take me to, but I'm absolutely certain I can live without 2 stone (probably need to lose 3 1/2 as a guess-timate!). This is to include exercising more and getting my 5-a-day.

    2. Sort out food budget. Going to use July to find out what I actually spend in a normal month and slim it down from there. Have started growing my own veggies so they should help!

    3. Take a bit more care of myself! I'm a 'hair in a pony tail' gal too but I've wanted to get it cut for ages, just couldn't justify £20 spent on me. I don't wear make up either, but I have enough to open a store so shall get round to using some of it, will take it gently though lol.

    4. Start my OU course. Something I've thought about for ages and never got round to. Going to kick myself up the bum and get enrolled!

    5. Socialise a bit more. I too am very used to my own company and I am pants at keeping in touch with old friends, so I shall aim for 1 hour a week catching up with people I know and I shall also try to make a few new friends while I'm at it.

That'll do me for now! Fingers crossed I keep to it :)

Good luck to everyone else with theirs :D

well i've been half good lol

The weight loss thing is kind of a non starter at the min....ive had a nightmare week so pigged out on chocolate yesterday! My boiler broke down last week so we have been without hot water or heating since last tuesday!! They are meant to be coming this morning to fix it! So last night i was frozen...kids were cold and the heater we had been using packed up too! Then the pipe on the toilet broke and every time you now flush the toilet it floods the bathroom! Then to top it off my lad fell down the stair and we ended up at casualty for 3 hours! At least it was warmer there tho lol. SO needless to say i really did go to town on the chocolate!

The limit pc use...this is going great, was only on for an hour yesterday!! Only because the pc is in the dining room and its too cold to sit in there lol

Cook from scratch.... This has been real good! I figured if i cooked it would warmthe house through...and it did lol Yesterday i did a sausage casserole, and it was gorgeous! Today the chicken is already cooking slowly ready to make honey and mustard chicken with mmmmm

flylady... well i havnt followerd the thread as such but i did gut the kitchen yesterday and the living room/dining room this morning! I'm going to do my lads room shortly too so i can make way for his new bed!

Save £10 a week..... this is going great too...with the £40 csa money last week then last weeks and this weeks i already have £60 in my new bank account. I just transfered the £10 for this week and hopefully i'll have a little extra left over,....if i stick to my budget! So may be able to put extra in too!

I just had my sky + fitted....the bloke that did it was gorgeous!!!! So thats me with a smile on my face for now lol Just wish the boiler man would hurry up now!

Ok I think I can give this a go.

    My goals are: -

    1. Lose 1 stone of post baby weight. This will get me back to just above my norm. (Can't start today as just baked 36 fairy cakes:o )
    2. Have a clean and mostly tidy house. Doing flylady at the moment, just got to keep it up.
    3. Get into the habit of drinking at least 2 pints of water a day (I know this is much lower than recommended but I find it extremely difficult to drink just 1 a day).
    4. Get into the habit of feeding my family well and making sure we all have our 5 a day every day. This is going to be hard as I have not done it before but needs must.
    5. De-clutter and make sure there is nothing left to ebay, bootsale or freecycle left by the finish date. Cannot see my dining room at the moment as it is now called the ebay room.

I think if I can manage all of this I will feel much healthier and happier so I have the incentive.

Thanks for this, needed a kick up the bum - best get cracking then.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Oooh please can I join in too? This sounds just what I need to make me achieve something over the next few months. Too often I just let the school holidays drift by and come September nothing's been done that I hoped for. Finishing in November gives me a good stretch.
I definitely want to lose some weight ( 3 stone would be ideal), but I don't think it's achievable for me, so I'm going to aim at two stone. That would be fantastic!
There will be more, but I need to think.
Oh and it'll be down to smaller portions (food is already home-cooked so OS) and more fruit, veg and water - and less chocolate, no biscuits and very little cake
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!
