Morning :hello:
March started with an AFD.
Off to watch Arsenal tonight
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hi all
I've done quite well and not so well. I've moved now, and just before I moved I had 3 AFDs in a row which I was pleased about although it was tough. So that took my total for February to 17/18 AFD.
But since I moved I've struggled really badly and drank too much every nightand I missed my target for february.
Shaggy please can I change my target for March to an easier 10 AFDs? Sorry to make work for you when you do so much work for the thread already
I'm hoping things start to get a bit easier for me soon, I'm like a fish out of water really and miss my old place badly. I've stopped caring and don't know how to get back to my AFDs. There's no pub here though which is good
Hope you're all doing well, some of the AFD totals look amazing, well done for all the february smileys

So sorry to hear about your friend HB. A colleague of my DH died on Monday. She fell over (not alcohol related) on Saturday evening, hit her head and died of the brain trauma in less than 48 hours. It's making us feel very mortal but also very fortunate at the moment.:)
piggles, a house move is up there with divorce and bereavement as the most stressful episodes in life so cut yourself some slack. I really find planning my drinking days/AF days works better for me than expecting every day to be AF.Off to watch Arsenal tonight
Shaggyx
Just hope you have a better evening than I did yesterday. We played like a bunch of amateurs and got out just desserts! Enough to drive anyone to drink.;)
Definitely AF today.
1 AFD please Shaggy.0 -

Fingers crossedSwansea haven't been playing that well of late - so I'm hopeful......just hope the weather isn't too awful - rain is forecast.

Hello Everyone
So I entered #drymarch with a resounding hangover from a very wet #dryfebruary. Completed Feb with a rather poor 9/29 AF . The leap year extra day was wasted as I was so ill I could barely function. That night I had a social event on and heard myself order a soda at the bar then change it to a beer. Fast forward to the next day and not only have I lost that day too to a hangover but gained a broken toe as well from the previous nights shenanigans.
So far 1/31 AF for March so far.
Have a trip to Europe and a wedding in a stately home to get through somehow sober this month.
Great to read so many positive stories from you all. :T
