Thanks Green Karen, I guess that I'm with you on something I hate. I want to sleep for England but keep being awake at stupid o clock in the morning. Maybe over the next few weeksGreen_Karen wrote: »Calling in 9/23 AF
About the comments on feeling more tired, achey, emotional etc. after cutting down/giving up alcohol. I felt the same at first and could sleep for England!....
I just have to learn to allow myself to feel a little vulnerable and weak at times - which I hate!
Oh no Satchmo, that is so annoying - hope you are on the mend soon.11/24 AFDs tonight. Still waiting for a diagnosis on my water infection, because the lab lost the first sample. Another sample sent off today. Hope they don't lose this one, and I get sorted out soonest.
Grey cat you made me laugh about the counting and it being easy in January - it's so easy to lose track, isn't it!
Thrifty, thanks for telling us about nature therapy, really interesting.
I went out for a walk at lunch but a combo of the storm and the grey London scenery didn't have quite the right destressing effect today
I managed to get another one in tonight so 6/14 for me please Shaggy.

I feel great this morning - 3 AFs it has taken me to recover from heavy drinking last Friday night, moderate drinking last Saturday night and 1 glass on Sunday night - has certainly stopped me short and made me think  Is the wine worth it, the sleepless nights and agitation
This thread is the equivalent a 'food diary' - another thing that works for me

Being something of a word-nerd I love the new verb "delurk"!
The references to re-connecting with nature made me think of this: http://www.davidpbrown.co.uk/poetry/william-henry-davies.html
