    hi all :)

reporting in while I've had another AFD. It's a good idea to meet my friend away from a pub so he's coming round.. however.. I might or might not have somewhere to move to :) Not sure yet, it's not fixed in stone, but we might pack a load more stuff and get so fed up with tripping over cardboard we disappear off to the pub anyway :o

There's no room to move in here and there's nowhere else to go where I live. If it were just me I'd be probably trying to only have a bit by myself and failing, so at least I'll be having beer and not loads of wine. I'll try and find a way of saying to him that I must be mindful of when I'm not drinking, no matter what his own plans are.

I think, if I'm honest, I do still have a problem with alcohol and might fight it for a long time. But at least I'm fighting it and not giving in, even if at the moment I'm not doing as well as I wanted to with it.

As well as realising I still have a problem, I've also learnt that if I have only one day AF it's not enough to bring my tolerance down and get out of the habit. It has to be at least two days AF in a row.

I also hate drinking. It's great the first glass or two, but after that it becomes a waste of time and ruins the next day and I'm less energetic. So if I could get to the point where I have the two enjoyable ones and then stop, that would be good.

Too much to do still, I'm at the stage where I thought I only had a few bits to do, but discovered a massive load more stuff to pack. So many little ticking off lists all over the place!! I'm organised, really I am ;)

Hope you're all doing ok, and better than ok :)

    12/18 AFD please shaggy :)

You're doing well Piggles, you really are. How many AFDs did you have last February? I'll bet it wasn't 12. Great that you are getting a bit of help with your packing, you'll get twice as much done in half the time.

    19/29 AFDs for me tonight.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Had two small g&ts last night - most enjoyable, and pleased that I didn't indulge further. Fresh as a daisy this morning. Today will be AFD so 16/23 please shaggy. Have a good Saturday everyone. And remember, whether you hit target this month or not, what really matters is the choice you make today. Xxx
