I surprised myself last night. I went to a Christmas dance and volunteered to dive. Considered having a glass when I got back at 1.00 a.m. but decided that I'd rather chalk up another AF day, have a smiley and save the calories!

    Another victory, Maman!
Pleased that I managed to stop after half a bottle last night.

    For me, that's progress.

Every drink that we don't have, for whatever reason, is progress. Well done, SHS.

    14/31 please, Shaggy.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Finally! A chance to post...been sooooo busy these past few days, but reporting in now :)

Didn't have any mulled wine after Small's Christmas play but I did win a whole bottle of it with my lucky programme. Tucked away safely for Crimble. Had a large glass of mediocre red wine with dinner that night and no alcohol since :j Maybe I should have a serious crisis at the beginning of each month to keep me sharp and focussed :rotfl:

I think that takes me to 13/19 please Shaggy x

The loss adjusting clearance team want to write off all my alcohol following our flood, but I'm actually horrified at the cost  Part of me wants to get rid of the booze and have some money in return, but the other half says "Nah, it'll be OK to drink" What to do?

I would take the money and buy something gorgeous and not alcohol related?

14/21 please Shaggy, and THANK YOU.
