Find it hard to be AL, once tempted to have one it quickly becomes 2, 3 or even 4!!!!
Declaring tonight though and going to keep busy wrapping Christmas prezzies and having an early night.
Oh goodness I remember that!
Glad it went well, Satchmo.
9/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -

I'm sure that falls into the section of the rules dealing with liqueur chocolates, sherry trifle and mouthwash!:rotfl:
No drinking planned today.

Hello all
I've not been on in ages as I have no laptop at the moment and it was too much of a faff on the phone but borrowing my DDs so I can get on!
I hope everyone is well and managing a reasonable amount of AFDs or ALDs. Me, doing badly! I will lurk and jump back in properly in the new year
Love to all x0 -

Sandypan...me three. They are right that for some of us it IS the first drink that's the problem.

I now regard myself as teetotal - love liqueur chocolates and never say no when they're offered, haven't seen sherry trifle for a decade but would happily scoff mountains of it and lick the bowl out, and use mouthwash every day.
I seem to remember the drink that sparked this discussion off was a tiny glass of weak mulled wine. By the time it's been heated through I would have said most of the alcohol has evaporated but I know I couldn't stop at one so I daren't. Each to their own, I always say.
