Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
9 please, Shaggy, thanks0

Hi Everyone,
Mixed results with the moderation attempts these last couple of weekends. I've started drinking whatever I fancy again (wine/beer/cider) which can lead to drunkeness quite easily.
My worst night was at a party at a friends house where they were doing cocktails. I had a few G & Ts but I suspect they were doubles at least. I then went on to drink all kinds of cocktails (all made for me by the hosts) and don't remember leaving the party. I woke up at another friends house on the sofa but don't remember getting there at all, so lost probably an hour of memory at least
I think the problem there was letting a male friend make my drinks for me and probably receiving man-sized quantities of alcohol in each drink!
On the plus side I have had a few nights where I've managed not to drink to excess, but still drinking enough to feel a bit tired the next day and the tiredness does build up over a few days. The regular tiredness is affecting my relationship with the boyf I think as I get grumpy or just very quiet and am not great company....so still improvements to be made!
I think checking in on this thread more often would help. Maybe next month I'll set alcohol-related target for myself. I'm skint now for the next 2 weeks so am contemplating trying to go alcohol-free for the rest of the month - this weekend there's a big birthday party so that would be tricky to do sober but not impossible. Will see!
Happy TuesdayStarting 2016 debt-free

My moderate drinking is going very well which is a surprise. I have decided to ditch wine as that is my problem drink, and have switched to a lowish alc cider instead. 2 glasses of that is fine for me and then bed
Shaggy, would you mind removing my 3 total please as I am not going to count whilst I am attempting this other way of cutting down/giving upAt least not for now.
