DH taking me out tomorrow for the big day.
    NRA xxx

Have a great time nra then jump back on the wagon afterwards.

Strangely enough I enjoy my drinking more now that I don't have it every night as a habit. So, on a good week I won't drink during the week unless I go out for a meal and then it makes it special. Same with the weekend, it makes it different from run of the mill days. It's what I wanted to achieve, social drinking but not too excess.

Unfortunately this month there have been far too many social occasions!:o

    7 AFDs please Shaggy.

That's my aim too Maman - moderate social drinking as a treat and not a habit. I don't think that I want to give up altogether.

    12/22 for tonight please.

At last! An AF day for me to report :)

Makes it 3/24 - never gonna meet my target this month but I am massively curbing the amount I consume, which feels like a win to me.

I've been using an app called Alcodroid for a while now. You put in what drink your having with the volume/percentage etc. and it calculates the number of units and your blood alcohol level. It's been quite useful for realising just how strong some drinks are. I can't believe Smirnoff Ice is 3 units! Luckily I don't drink that very often.

Argh, sorry Aphidgirl! Just checked again and a bottle of Smirnoff Ice actually has 1.4 units in it, not 3! I was checking while hungover on the internet and think I was looking at a large bottle that you get from the supermarket! Oh well, that's not so bad and has made me feel a bit better! :o

11/22 now please Shaggy - half way there!:)
