So shaggy if it is okay can I have a target of 5 for march?
You're on The List. Good Luck! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I have been on here a few times previously and realise it is quite late in the month to join in. But if I may it will encourage me to get going on my plan.. So shaggy if it is okay can I have a target of 5 for march?
Sorry it won't let me do colour for some reason...!
I have been reading Chardonnay's fantastic journey in her diary and although I don't want to give up drinking, I must cut down so thought it was time to come back over here.. Hope you will have me..!

Never too late to join puzz. Better to get 5 under your belt than wait until next month.:)Honey_Bear wrote: »I had very odd experience on Friday. I've been aware for quite some time that I've been a bit gleeful about not writing off days because I had a hangover. What shocked me on Friday was that 238 days after stopping boozing, I still find myself trying to factor out the days when I know I won't achieve anything because old habits taught me I didn't do anything on those day. That's pretty much eight months of still being stuck with a habitual thought due to booze.
It just goes to show how ingrained the drinking was as a part of my life and the amount of time I've wasted over the years on feeling grim. Just wanted to put that out there, because it's been bothering me since Friday.
Nothing wrong with gleeful about your achievements HB but I do understand what you're saying. Last Friday evening it occurred to me that I hadn't thought about drinking all day. On the plus side, I've achieved moderate drinking, no hangovers and reaching my ideal weight along the way but I still seem to look forward to the drinking days. For years and years I've had a good feeling almost as soon as I wake up on Friday of 'it's the weekend I can drink tonight'! I think (after about 4 years!) I may be getting to a take it or leave it point.
I'm a bit slow getting back on the wagon this week. I went to an event last night and had a single gin. I did enjoy it but probably no more than the plain tonic that followed.:)
Definitely AF today.
9 AFDs please Shaggy.
