What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Some very thought provoking posts on here. I wish you well in your AF venture. It's not for me but I do admire those of you who make that decision and have the determination to see it through.:A

Meanwhile I'm aiming for my 14 day smiley this week. I know it's a short month but being half AF makes me feel good. Pause button came into play again at the weekend. So soft drinks interspersed with alcohol means I'm cutting down on drinking days too.

    12 AFDs please Shaggy.

It's my birthday next month and social calendar looks heavy but I'll have my usual target of 10 for March please and see how I go.

21/24 for tonight please - next smilie :j
  • 16 please, Shaggy, ta

Satchmo and Chardonnay - I did Parkrun on Saturday, really enjoyed it, I will definitely never be one of the fastest, but couldn't care less, the main thing to me is actually managing to do it and maintaining my usual time. Looking forward to next Sat's run - and what an incentive it is to keep the wine to an absolute minimum on a Friday evening, my major temptation time.

18/21 AFDs tonight. Wasn't AF on Sunday night, and felt yuk this morning because of it.

I think I'll shoot for 24 for March.

Yay, Pricey, parkrun as an AF aid :-)
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    19/24 AFDs for Monday :)
  • Thanks HB for your support as always - it really is invaluable! I think I'm going to start my own thread here so that I can chart my progress and ramble on to my heart's content! I will of course still come here every day though to chart my progress and add to the conversation where I can. This thread has changed my life, no doubt about it and I am so grateful for the lovely posters here and for Shaggy for tirelessly keeping the scores. :T As you say, we never know how many people are reading but not joining in. I know that I did for a long time too, before I plucked up courage to join in. All I can say is, don't be frightened take the plunge because the support and warmth here can really make a difference to your life!

Well done Pricey on doing parkrun. I'll never be one of the fastest either but I think that's what's great about it. It's just such a great thing to do on a Saturday morning! :)

    18/19 please Shaggy! :)
