Well, another night done, so 3/7 for me, wahey! Still feeling tired in the morning, but it is a different tired, if that makes sense.

The real test will be Sat morning when I might actually get a lie in (although with 6yr and 4yr old girls, think I'm dreaming there) and see how I feel. Got a feeling I might crack and buy a bottle of wine tomorrow to watch their movie with them (after Rainbows, it's always movie and popcorn!), and although I'll feel bad cos I won't make it 7/7, 6/7 is better than it would have been if I hadn't come on here and found this lovely thread.

I do find writing things down helps. Even though I don't know anyone in real life, it still feels great to be able to put down my numbers of not drinking days.

And I've decided 15/31 for December. Gotta start slow and it will certainly be better than what it was before.

Don't be too hard on yourself for planning a drink at the weekend if that's what you want. I think it's planning that's the key so that you're in control rather than the other way round. Did you plan that 15 around Christmas commitments? It'll be much easier if you have. Sorry to sound a bit preachy but it's what works for me.

At least you're posting on here so all is not lost. Maybe draw a line under November and start afresh in December. That's what I've done in the past.

    18/19 for tonight please.

No ethanol since Sunday so I can register 15/21 tonight but I'm going to miss my target by a few days.

I'm not going to make any commitment for December but I've just registered for the January Dryathlon. I did it this year and found it to be a very worthwhile experience.
