8/20 AFDs for Thursday. I survived Blackpool burlesque cabaret without alcohol so that I could drive home. I didn't want the stress of staying with my SIL overnight! Nor did I want to leave my DH who is in a dark depression at the moment (he suffers from major depression and sinks occasionally).

I had one glass of wine tonight, which had been in the fridge all week. I discovered that putting the wine glass in the fridge slows down my drinking considerably.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I am determinedly and consciously drinking tonight.

DH is in deep depression, which means he verbally attacks me. Now that mum is living with us, he is now verbally attacking the fact that she is here and whitters all the time, Says he resents her being here, and feels manipulated into having her here. Says he feels he's being used and that I'm taking him for a mug,

    Hah,

Well, no, that's not how I feel, I am in tears and feel like a bl00dy slave. I cook, clean, tidy, I'm unpacking boxes and rearranging joint possessions in order to make a home. I've just given up a part time job because it wasn't paying more than benefits. But DH is giving me grief about not producing an income. Says I'm "sponging off him"??? Well, a f***ng cook/bottlewasher/launderer would cost him more than I do.

I've had enough. I want out of this mess.
