    Hi there,
After missing in action for over a week I'm back to report I'm on 13/14 I'm a bit disappointed with myself as I was hoping to overshoot my target but there's no way that's going to happen now.

I'm glad next Monday is included as I know I will drink this weekend. MIL is moving this weekend. DH is the driver of the van, myself along with DS2 and two other relatives are the removal men. She's not an easy woman and I feel like a Large brandy just thinking about it!

I hope not to drink on Sunday to go over my target by one day but we'll see.

The only thing I am glad about is that most (but not all) nights have been a single drink. Hasn't helped my diet though as I've only lost two pounds in two weeks. Will attempt to step it up again.

My target for July is 14 days again. I won't go for more as I'm off on hols at the end of July and we all know what that means.

Well done to all who are doing all that running. I need a lie down listening to it! And congrats to those who are on/over target:T

    Kind regards
    Slowdown:)

    Good morning everyone :grouphug:

Shaggy please mark me down for 14/23

Last night was alcohol free but Tuesday night I must admit I downed a bottle of Prossecco :(

I know I wont make my target this month but I am so, so pleased with my progress on the number of AFDs I've achieved this month ;)

Im doing a 10 mile race tonight...so its definitely the running and exercise keeping me on the straight and narrow :)

Have a great day and evening :j

How did the race go 5 Year? 10 miles - that is hardcore! :T

No more AFDs for me I'm afraid, seem to have slipped right off course since going on holiday. Yesterday was a really bad day at work and I had a couple of large glasses of wine last night to "de-stress". It's a long time since I've used alcohol to help me to relax and I have to say I am regretting it today as I feel absolutely pants! :( So it didn't really solve anything, just made me feel worse in the long run - must remember that.

Hoping for an AFD today but not 100% sure so won't call yet.

Have a good Friday everyone, so glad it's nearly the weekend!

    Hi All

I did not manage any more AF's :(. I am going down to Manchester tonight as we fly out to Sunny Spain for 2 weeks tomorrow so I wont have any more to add to my target, I will get properly on track when I come back from my holidays :D

See you all in a few weeks  xxx

    Helloooo to Frisky Friday :rotfl:

Shaggy another AFD please - 15/23

    Macpep - have a brill holiday :)

Chardonnay and Slowdown - Thoroughly loved the 10 miler last night and did a good time...the combination of
abstinence, insanity training and slowly increasing the miles whilst watching my diet is starting to pay off - Im 1 stone lighter and fitter than I have been in the last couple of years :D
I know I will have a few drinks over the weekend but not nearly anything like I would have consumed in the past cause I will keep Becks Blue and Sorelle in my sights between glasses :rotfl:
Have a great weekend everyone :grouphug:

I have stocked up with apple juice and soda water ready to divert myself away from the wine this evening.

I need to make more effort as I just haven't this month, or last month really. It is just too easy to give in and drink.

So I am intending to go AF tonight but not confident enough to call early! I will be back later :)

    20/21 AFDs tonight.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Didn't drink last night as was so tired and a bit hungover so 14/19 AFDs for me now please Shaggy.

Hope you have a lovely holiday macpep!

Well done 5 year plan, you sound like you're really into the zone with the fitness/running now...amazing too how it encourages you to stay off the pop :) That's another reason I didn't drink last night as I wanted to try a little run this morning - only 4k but am getting there again. Race for Life next week - eek!

Hope everyone's having a great weekend, it's gone very quiet here! :D

Not AF tonight, but just two glasses of red wine rather than one and a half bottles (shame on me) that I had last Saturday.

Halloo Chardonnay! Checking in with an AFD after having too much for two nights in a row so that's 12/14 for me please Shaggy including today. Racing to the end of the month and I can make my target if I do tomorrow and Monday. Bizzarrely I'm more worried about Monday than Sunday as I'm meeting friends in a pub.

Hope everyone's where they want to be tonight.

    Sleep well!
