Just read some of this thread and would like to join you all if i may ? I intend to stop drinking pretty much altogether , I don't drink every day mainly at weekends but have drunk for last 3 days yesterday I had a large bottle of lam**ini and 5 cans of strongbow as well :eek:
To say I didn't feel brill this morning is an understatementthe other thing is I have cml which when I drink I tend to forget to take my tablets for - This I cannot afford to do .
I'm hoping to lose weight along the way (2 stone)so going to start eating healthier as well . Think i'm gonna take the no pressure option for now and not count .

Early call for tonight to make me 25/26 AF for the month so should make target
Drank both nights while away, but only two small glasses of wine on each (by small I mean not my usual half bottle sized glass!). I used to wonder why wine bottles went down with so few glasses consumed! It was just the size of my glass and nothing to do with me putting it away so quickly!

Hope the move goes well satchmo. I've been to Southport and it's really lovely.So back on the wagon for me today. I have also put on a ton if weight and need to watch what I eat for a while to shift it (and a bit more!) - not sure whether to do 5:2 or slimming world.
I'm a huge SW convert gien. I started off with this thread to get my drinking under control and then tackled SW. I've been at target for almost three years now. There's a great SW thread on here if you're interested although I have heard good reports about 5:2.
I'm calling in for tonight, so that's

gien - like Maman, I can whole-heartedly recommend SW I lost approx. 20lbs and have maintained that loss for well over a year now.
Did have a drink each day over the weekend but nothing excessive - back to it tonight so I am declaring early on 10/12.
I would also like to set my target for May at 12 again please shaggy0 -
I am setting May's target at 13/31 please Shaggy as I have a holiday which is almost guaranteed to be boozey!
If I beat target then I will be delighted, and I will try0 -

Welcome mobo. I'm quite new here too and this is a lovely thread with lots of support, so you'll be fine.
AF again last night, though I have to confess I had to work at it. Long day at work, bit stressful, as yet another member of staff is leaving and I'm feeling quite isolated. Only 3out of 8 staff are staying.
Anyway, yoga again tonight so should be ok today, but out for a meal tomorrow! That will be interesting as I always have a glass when out with this particular friend!
