anyway - up to 2/15 for April so far. hopefully May will go better.
Well done for not giving up on April altogether, you've had a tough time.:)
Sounds like you're having a tough time too Pauline. Sorry to hear you're being forced off the boards but you do sound in a much better place than you've been for a while. Literally stronger and fitter! Keep up the good work and I'm glad you've had a good experience on this thread. It's a good place.
It would have been easy for me to have a s*d it night tonight but I didn't.
10 AFDs please Shaggy.
That's target met and any more days a bonus!0 -
Hi
Well it's Friday. And nary a drop has passed my lips in 4 nights. I know that doesn't sound like much but it's a long time since that happened. I feel really pleased.
However, I am going out tonight so will be having a couple of drinks. I do not intend to go mad as now I'm working full time again, there is a lot to squeeze in to the weekend. It will be interesting to see how I get on.
Well done to everyone who manages to stay off it at all. Even for a night or two. I think keeping track on here helps a lot.
Kind regards
Slowdown:)0 -

Morning :hello:
24 AFDs to yesterday.

Wobbling a bit at the moment due to some life stuff, but I have to try and not hit the self destruct button and look after myself, which at the moment Im struggling with. Alcohol isnt the answer, I do know that much.
Anyway, Ive asked the mods if they can ban me or PPR me, combination of said stuff thats making me a bit unwell just now and the continued trolling/comments being directed at me which I dont think is going to stop from a certain section of people on the board, mainly one board on the forum. If I were strong enough Id just put up with it, but right now Im wavering a bit and Ive got a few things on the next few weeks, my course and the tri and I need to try and boot my backside back into gear and get on with it.
I dont know if I'll be back on here again, because Ive never been very good at not being "me" on a forum as it were and if I am me, well, things might just kick off again.
It probably will take a good few days before Im told if I can be banned or PPR'd, if not, then I'll just need to not log in again.
Things will be ok in the end, but the next couple of months may be very stressful due to certain issues and I really need to be offline and try and get on with it.
I wish you all well and I want to say thank you, because youve helped me when I was drinking too much and wanted to stop, took me a few months of lurking to be able to admit I needed to do something about my own consumption.
Ta ta for now

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend, AF or otherwise
I am planning a pretty much dry weekend (lol, considering the weather!) so no booze tonight and will do my best for tomorrow too. As some of you may remember, I find 2 in a row difficult but I really want to have a productive weekend so that will help motivate me to avoid wine.
