What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I'm up to 7/12. Drank far too much on Saturday, but this week is another week and I shall start again.

I left my credit card in the machine in Tesco on Saturday. I didn't feel that drunk at the time, but I guess I must have been to forget it. And I had only gone out to buy another bottle. Ho hum.

And I had my 6 year old with me. Tut tut. It's only looking back that I think, what were you doing?! But at the time, it seemed like a good idea.

I have struggled at work today. Ordinarily would drink when I get home but will focus on cleaning and studying instead.

It might not have been drink Pollyanna
I do that kind of thing all the time even when I am sober. Hope nobody took it tho.

Maman and FPW. I hope you both feel better soon. Well done for resisting FPW. Maman you always appear to have your !!!!!! together these days,so knowing that you occasionally blip, makes me feel less bad about mine. Not justifying myself but it has helped.

Back on it today for us both.

Polly, I can relate to what you have written and have done my own versions of that too.

Thanks for that cuppa . I don't know what's my problem at the moment but I'm sure it will pass. I've had much the same scores on other months but it just seems to be bothering me more.

I've been out for coffee with a friend this afternoon. She's got cancer and although she's having chemo the outlook doesn't look good. It puts my aches and pains into perspective. :)
  • Thanks CuppaTea. Maman - sorry to hear about your friend. I went through something similar a year ago and it's rough. Don't forget to look after yourself whilst you're supporting them!

15/25 tonight please. The little dude on the surf board has cheered me up somewhat, thanks shaggy! Although I'm wondering if maybe I need to get out a bit more at the minute!
