Thanks for putting me down for May Shaggy. I can't wait to get started!:)

This hasn't been a good month. I've been a bit too indulgent and I don't think having 5 weekends in the month and the Easter Holiday has helped.:o I'm not having a problem being AF when I'm at home but far too many planned drinking occasions so I'm not going to make my target.

    AF today though.

    8 AFDs please Shaggy.

Hi everybody, sorry Diyer, if I could send my pink cloud over I certainly would. It's all grey clouds here at the moment, and blooming freezing. Heating on at the end of April! What is going on in the world, it's obscene.
Enough of me and my suffering, not too bad really compared to many others on the planet.

Calling in 22/28 today please Shaggydoo and a target of 31 for May.
My day 100 is 11th July

Today we had a work lunch. 12 people I was only one with soft drink. My boss was surprisingly supportive but battles elsewhere.

When we were choosing how much red or white they automatically included people in either category without conversation. This would ordinarily be the norm.
I felt a lot healthier than I normally do at these lunches. I would usually have at least half a bottle. Sometimes the equivalent of a bottle but when it's on the table you can drink a lot without really noticing.

I have catch up tommorow at the pub with good friend so won't maintain it but today I felt really happy with my decision.

Thank you Shaggy for recording my target for May at 31. And for all the support and kind words shared here. And also to HB- I know it sounds a bit daft but I felt very supported at lunch today even though you weren't physically there (obviously) but I felt like I carried your support with me.

I know it's just one event but it feels like a big deal to me.
And also when I have a few drinks I've got this stupid habit of repeating myself and looking stupid but today completely escaped that which was great.

    Thanks again everyone. xxx

  • Evening all. Well, I won't make target now as I caved and had a pint with Sunday lunch at the pub  I'm still plodding on thought, 11/18 for tonight please.

The receptionist at the docs suggested there's a problem regarding my Iron and B12 levels. I'm hoping this isn't something I've ruined over time with drinking.

Drank too much over the weekend, but I can only keep trying.

I am drinking less than I used to which is a good start.

The idea of just giving it completely is a bit too scary though.

My dad is tee total. I asked him the other day does he ever miss drink. He said he did, but he doesn't drink cos if he started, he wouldn't know when to stop. Bit like me. I'm not good with portion control.

I do think fair play to him. He's been off drink for over 10 years now.

Today I am up to 7/10
Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
