How are you feeling HB? Is your lurgy gone yet?:)
Yes thanks, Maman. It lasted about a month in the end and I haven't yet quite fully bounced back but that will happen, I'm sure, when the weather improves.Green_Karen wrote: »Just had a coconut dairy free yoguhurt from Alpro which was like very lightly coconut flavoured custard, absolutely divine for a sweet tooth like me. Got this from Tesco as well as milk free smoky cheese, which I haven't tried yet. Cheese is the thing I will really miss. Managed to track down some vegan wine that wasn't extortionate too!
The tiredness I was feeling in the afternoon has gone away and I am now 5 days wholefood vegan. I have to say my energy and concentration levels are already improving. I did the exact same thing 20 odd years ago and survived on 4 hours sleep and jumped out of bed in the mornings full of energy, I just slipped back into bad habits.
That's really interesting and helpful, GK, so thank you. OH is away for six days so I might nip up to the health food shop and see what they've got in their cold cabinet that I could give a try. I've got rather a sweet tooth myself, so it might suit rather well!
31/31 please, Shaggy. I always find the last post of the month very satisfying.Better is good enough.0 -
I was thinking about reviving The School Night Challenge next week.
For anyone who does not remember them they were mini challenges running from Sunday to Thursday night. So for example I will make a target for myself of 5 nights - Sunday through to Thursday and you can set whatever target you want.
Shout out if you fancy it.What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Day 12 today :A - I have, however, lost no weight - shucks...
I am also thinking about giving up crisps - since all those reports this week say less salt helps you sleep better...What do we do when we fall? One more smiley for me for the month - not as good as some of you but I am well pleased with 14/12 please Shaggy.
Well done to all those who hit (or passed) their targets and for those that didn't quite make it at least you are still here and trying - a new month starts tomorrow - onwards & upwards0 -

Evening everyone, I've not posted for a few days but have managed to hit my target of 27 days for March.
Shaggy I read your comment about giving up crisps - they are my downfall! I decided to give them up for a month in January last year, my daughter challenged me to give them up for a year I got to June and said to her im halfway through the challenge, what challenge she said, she'd forgotten all about it lol
My April target is 26 please, thanks0
