Update - I've been assured by the people involved that it was just a healthy lively discussion. There's obviously still an issue if I'm waking up and can't fully remember though!0

10/26 for yesterday please! Yesterday was easy (as we weren't out and I rarely drink on a sunday anyway given its a "school night"). Should be easy enough between now and Friday for that reason.
FPW - this is regular occurrence for me and one of the reasons why I want to give up - don't beat yourself up, learn from it and move on xI want to be a writer0 -
Forgot to add last night that I had an AFD yesterday, so up to 6/15 please.0

Good to be back on the wagon today:).
I'm out for lunch on Thursday and will enjoy a drink then but otherwise AF. Definitely no drinking today.

Morning :hello:
2 more AFDs for Saturday and Sunday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Wow Lulabelle, that's a lot of temptation! Well done on sticking to your guns.
Cuppa Tea, sometimes the best outcome is one we didn't know was going to happen - like being fullly aware of how and why we drink rather than just necking it, particularly 's*d it nights' is a huge positive. Keep posting!fakeplastictwee wrote: »Oh dear. I went to a friends house for dinner last night, drank too much wine and ended up in a heated debate during which I think I may have got a little personal. It wasn't a fall out, but a discussion turned into me possibly sounding a bit too righteous, (I think... I can't fully remember). I've already sent the apology texts but I'm feeling really awful this morning. It's a long time since anything like that has happened, and I'm not feeling good about myself at all.
FakePlasticTwee, the reason I gave up completely was my behaviour on the final night I drank. I was vile, absolutely vile, far worse than I'd ever been before and it took me by surprise. Up until then I'd always thought OH and I were both to blame for all the arguments, but that night I absolutely knew it was just me getting carried away on too much booze. Strangely it was a night that I didn't intend to drink at all. I had taken two bottles of tonic and a carton of tomato juice, so there was no excuse at all. Everyone was p***ed, not just me, but my behaviour was outrageous. I just stopped being able to accept my own behaviour and it was the final spur that gave me the impetus to stop. I don't think my relationship with OH would have survived another evening like that. Scary.
Slightly worried about Roland not posting since he had a drink the other day.
