19/22
Going to miss the target by 1 and get same total as December.
Feb Target 21 please
Finding tracking my alcohol intake really helpful. There was a few days which just involved 1 glass which is an improvement.
No excuses but this month did involve a few things I enjoyed and 1 under-social-work-pressure glass of wine which if I had declined would have got to my target but I was personally invited and under pressure. I could have had coke but it didn't occur to me as it was a stressful situation but next time I will try and make myself remember and order a drink consciously.
I did not realise how much I was drinking until recently. Yesterday was the worst drinking day so far this year. I didn't think I was too bad. Had to text 2 friends to say I was hope safe and not asleep on train on the wrong end of the country. This is everything I am trying to avoid and is completely unnecessary. Trying to learn.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Oh dear POOR SINGLE- I get those messages most weekends,,,,, I must be a real drunk in the eyes of my friends,
That said I have always been totally honest and open that I am a " drinker"
That's why at times I choose not to drink to prove I'm not an addict to alchol,,,,,,,who am I kidding ?,,,,,
Only myself , as the day I stop completely will be the day I am free!!!:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0 -

On an end of month push! 13/10 AF days.
Came to two conclusions about why I use alcohol over the weekend. One is good old habit, just because it's been a while that I have done it for, but habits can be broken. That wouldn't be so difficult to do.
But the other reason (much more sneaky) is procrastination. How many evenings have I known I have to do get on and do something important in my life but what do I do instead? Pour a glass and hey presto everything I need to do has gone away. Important decisions to be made, tidy the house, decorate, shopping, whatever, can always do it tomorrow. But really, if I don't feel like doing something, am I not adult enough to just say I can't be bothered, Why do I need my 'sneaky friend' to be in cahoots with me?0 -
