Really pleased tonight that although I don't have an AF day to report, I only had one small glass of Prosecco for a colleague's birthday. Nice to stop at one for a change. Back in hotel room and drinking tea now.0

Hi all
15/31 - it has got easier to refuse alcohol as month goes on0 -
Morning all, that's 15/30.
On a week off just now, getting a lot of stuff done I wouldn't normally get done, as I couldn't be bothered when I'd been drinking the night before.
So all good.0 -

*Healing vibes* for your back, Arkers.
I bought some more AF wine, can't work out why AF beer can taste very similar to beer with alcohol but the wine is awful. Think I have now tried most makes so this time I will give up looking for AF wine.
I tried pretty much everything the supermarkets sell, and found exactly the same, MaggieM. I've still got a bottle or two of the Sainsburys sparkling left and it's lovely chilled on a hot day with lots of ice, a bit like elderflower champagne, but as a wine to go with a meal it's too sweet. As are all of the AF wines I tried, red and white. I can't bear them. Bec*s Blu* tastes fine, slightly sour which is what I want when I'm drinking with food or on a night out, so although I wasn't a beer drinker in my alcohol daze, I am now.Rolandtheroadie wrote: »Morning all, that's 15/30.

Good-oh, Roland. Being able to achieve stuff once I'd stopped drinking was amazing - I realised afterwards how much time I'd wasted for 10 years, just by feeling sluggish all the time. Go you!
17/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
It's strange that so many of us dislike sweet drinks. I'm not even a fan of sweet food overmuch. Chocolate I don't really enjoy less than 70% cocoa. My idea of snacking would be cheese or crisps. When I'm AF I tend to have water, fizzy or even tonic if I'm really pushing the boat out!:rotfl:
No plans to drink today.
9 AFDs please Shaggy.
My aim is to get to target tomorrow. I'm out for a meal with friends on Thursday so won't be AF then but next week will be some bonus days.:D0 -
Morning all - 12/21 for me today.0
