You sound very much more like your old self, Maman. Great to have you back!

Thanks for that HB, it cheered me no end.:)

I was struggling last night after a disastrous football match and very tempted to get home and drown my sorrows. Instead I thought of the thread and what a waste of an AF day it would be. Success! :D

    12 AFDs please Shaggy.

I'm planning to be AF tonight too but won't call in yet just in case.;)

17/17 for me please Shaggy. What a star you are doing all the counting for us all year. I hope you had a great Christmas and enjoy the NY celebrations whatever you do.

Happy 2017 to all on this thread. You've really kept me going. Previously when I came to this thread back in 2010, I dipped in and out and never stuck at it. I've been regularly coming here now since April I think and its certainly helped.

Tonight I was wavering but by the time I got home it was 8pm and I thought its too late to start, if I do, I'll over do it and feel rough in the morning. Plus I have to drive at 9am, so the temptation went and I met my target.

I think i'll go back to 18 for January please. I want to say 20 but I haven't got up to that since August or Sept, i've been averaging 18 I think. Will go for that and if I get 20 plus i'll be chuffed.

    Happy New Year!!

3 more targets reached since I posted yesterday. And well done to those of you that have exceeded your expectations. I think any AFDs for December is a massive achievement.:T:T:T

I remember when you first started posting cuppa. You seem to be in a much better place all round now including getting AF sorted.:)

I was AF last night. Pleased that I managed to get back to it relatively easily after a Christmas break.

    13 AFDs please Shaggy.

That's probably it for me for this month but it'll be good to get back to normal starting from Monday.

Thanks everyone for your support in 2016 and especially the lovely Shaggy.:A

    Good afternoon,

    17 AFD please Shaggy x

A huge thank you to everyone on this thread, your support has been invaluable. Just knowing you guys are there has really helped. I now drink 50% less then I did a year ago. I'm a lot happier and in a better place as a result.

A special thanks to Shaggy for keeping us all motivated and on track. x
